So far, my exposure has been limited to Silent Lucidity and Operation: Mindcrime

If I decided to delve further, what should my next step be?

To step away, back in the day I listened to almost everything from that genre and couldn't stand them. And the lead singer had the biggest forehead this side of Kevin Dubrow:eek:

You can stop at Operation Mindcrime, for the most part. Nothing else ever came close, album-wise. Just a few select songs here and there.

Basically the first four albums and the Demo EP.

Demo EP contained the song "The Lady Wore Black"

The Warning

Rage For Order

Operation: Mindcrime

Empire - Silent lucidity, Delila Brown and Empire were the most memorable off that one.

Much after that and the style and focus changed and the lead up to the departure of DeGarmo was becoming apparent.
