QAR The Private Rooms and Bungalows

Welcome to Queen Anne?s Revenge. There are a number of rooms designed with your comfort in mind. There are rooms in the upper story of the main house, and bungalows out among the trees and along stretches of the beach? feel free to choose the room which suits your needs, and make it your own. If you have any needs, just contact the staff and they will see to them. It is their goal to make your stay memorable? whether you choose to stay a single night or for an extended period

What this thread is:
1. This thread is an extension of Queen Anne?s Revenge and is for the patrons who wish to spend the night with friends in a more intimate setting. It is the very private place and is your personal space.
2. This is for fun, and all are invited.
3. Choose a room and then give a description that fit your own tastes as to the decor. Make the space yours in every way and let us see it through your eyes.
4. Like all we do here, this is for fun. Please enjoy.

Guidelines:
1. Each room is one bedroom. All have at least a view of the seascape.
2. Communicate? not only in words, but also in the actions of your character. Try to avoid one-line posts. Share with each other what you are doing, seeing, and feeling.
3. If you are enjoying a private room, please avoid for posting in QAR or in one of her sister threads during the real time of your tryst. Likewise, if you are in the common room of the QAR or one of her sister threads, avoid these rooms.
4. Remember? as with the QAR, you can be in only one place at a time. As tempting as it is, PLEASE stay in one room at a time for the convenience of all. There is no limit to the number sharing a bed, should that be a concern. There is no "check out time" so please enjoy your stay(s) as you see fit.
5. And perhaps the most important guideline: this is OOC. Instead of putting a witty title in the title box or leaving it blank, please use that space to clarify what room you are in.
6. If you wish to borrow an established room, you must have permission from the occupant.
7. If you are in someone else's room, or in your room with someone else, and that person becomes unavailable to post with you, you can use a "time and space pass" to halt your portion of the thread temporarily so that you can go into the common room to post. This should be stated in a post so that the person you are with is aware of it. When you are able to continue the interlude, post that the pass has been turned in so that the next person "stuck" in such a way is able to use it. Thank you. Have FUN.

Thanks

The Tower Bedroom

I turned the key in the lock and pushed the door in with the toe of my boot. I smiled at the room, "Yes, this will do nicely," I said aloud to myself. Opening the drapes wide adn pulling back the windows to bring in the soft wind blowing up from the waves, I take a deep breath and toss my bag on to the bed, before I walk outthe door and back down the stairs. Leaving the key in the lock, since it would never be needed here.

The Beach House

I walked up to the door carrying my light luggage. Just one single back pack and fumbled for the key in my jeans pocket. A mortice lock and a big enough key to fit.

Once inside I threw my back pack down to the floor (glad to get rid of the seemingly increasing weight) and run into the bathroom.
I turned on the taps filling the bath tub and knew the end of my waiting was now upon me. A really hot bath was what I needed.

I looked out of the window whilst letting my hair free and noticed two people on the beach further along the shore. Well, atleast someone else was around. I lifted my t-shirt off and threw it anywhere and dashed to check how my bath was running, tossing my shoes off in all directions. Oh that water looked real good!...just the right temperature and now to add those sweet smelling salts that stood in a jar on the shelf.

I slipped out of my jeans and panties and took one foot at a time in the bath tub. Oh Yes!....that felt really nice as I sank my butt into the soothing hot water.....Mmmmmmmmmmm. Total relaxation.

Angel's Room

I open the door of the room at the end of the hall on the top floor. It's the only bedroom in the wing and is at the back of the house on the ocean side. It's absolutely perfect... and absolutely empty. Not even a bed.

I sigh and sit down on my trunk, which Aaron has kindly carried up for me. My oak platform bed, which is in storage, will be perfect in here... and thank goodness I have a fireplace again. And my own bathroom.

But the best thing is the porch! I jump up and hurry over to the French doors. Flinging them open, I step out into my own private little world, not visible to anyone else. I can smell the ocean from here, and the sound of the waves soothes the tired traveller and welcomes her home again.

I open the bedroom door and step out into the hall again. My final task before going downstairs is to make this officially my room. Taking my sign from the China Pearl Inn, I tack it onto the door: Angel's Room.

Gage's Room

He walked in and found that all of his things had already been delivered to this room... Wow, this place was quite well put together. His bed was already assembled as were his bookshelves, which were full. His desk sat in the corner, with a fresh set of pens on it and several open new sketchbooks. A smile crawled over his face as he ran his fingers over the silk sheets on his bed. The room was painted a dark green and it was perfect. The bathroom was far on the back... and then he looked to the window. It showed a beautiful scene of the ocean landscape.

He organized a few things on his desk and then moved back downstairs. Someone should be there to welcome guests.

The Beach House

I was here by myself. Not that I wanted to be alone. I just wanted the space away from the city while I had a vacation.

I had time to refect on the reasons why I was here whilst soaking my cares away. It was a nice enough place (so I heard) so why not visit.

After my hot bath I went into the bedroom and flopped onto the kingsize bed. Good springs. Nice cool pastel paintwork on the walls....apple white I think they call it. Ok, so it's different to my bedroom at home. Purple and green is aggressive anyway. I was here to escape from all of that.

I searched my back pack, found my nightshirt and a peach. I loved peaches, half eaten peach on this occassion. It was really quiet. All I could hear was the sea hitting the shore outside.

I dried and lay on the kingsize bed, eating the peach. Then sighed with relief to be away from all of those problems back home. But then, would they just melt away on their own while I was here?

Gage's Room

The door opened and he looked over the cool dark room. Alone again, he thought... alone again. He made his way to the bed and lay there with his clothes on, waiting for sleep. He was tired, but not necessarily wanting to sleep... he just wanted something... He fell asleep as his mind bent around that question.

My Beach House Haven

I walked up to the place which I was to call home.........for a while at least. It was quaint. Looking at the front porch with it's beautifull old-fashioned wooden door, white clap-board walls with deep forest green shutter adorning the windows. I nod in approval and turn the key in the lock.......*click* The door opens. It's been well maintained as there is no sound and the ease of which it swings. I walk into the room, looking around, I smile feebly. It is nice. The walls are painted in a beige color, soft and gentle. Pictures of the sea and the beach adorn the walls. A big picture window faces off to the side....facing towards the other beach house in the distance. Facing the beach, sliding doors open up onto a deck that had ivy creeping up the walls. The bathroom was brightly light.......I noticed however, candles were placed in various locations around the whirlpool tub. A glass shower stands in the one corner and in the other, a toilet with brass handles to match the spigots on the sink beside it. Going back to the main room, there is a leather recliner/arm chair and a four-post bed against the wall. It's a king size bed with pillows all over it and soft satin sheets. The floor is covered in a thick and plush rug that is soft on my bare feet. I am pleased with the room. I notice by the door, a stand with towels on it. hmmm those might come in handy I mutter to myself....and so will that fleece robe on the edge of the bed. The windows around the place have curtains that fall down to the floor. They are tied back to let the light in......the windows open to let the fresh air in. I plop down into the chair.....closing my eyes I let out a big sigh. This feels good. I rest......for now..

The Captain's Suite

I finally walked back to my room and looked around. It was decorated like a ship captain's suite. Wood panelling all around, ornate brass fixtures, old maps on the walls. A larger brass bed stood against one wall. The windows were shaped like portholes except for the doors that led out to the balcony. On the large antique desk in the corner was a brass telescope, and what looked like a ship's log, only the pages were blank. The bathroom was seperate with an old large iron bathtub against one wall.

The surroundings all looked vaguely familiar, but my mind was still void of memories. I rubbed the bump on the side of my head. I needed to collect my thoughts.

I found a bottle of whiskey and a glass in the dresser. I took it out to the balcony, sat at the marble table, and looked out at the sea. After a few shots my mind relaxed, but nothing came back to me.

Angel's Room

In my absence, Aaron has had a single bed moved in temporarily. It was most kind of him, and I'm happy to be sleeping in a bed rather than on the floor... but, a single bed???

I step out onto my little private porch and breathe in the refreshing night air. The sound of the sea is muted, but soothing and pleasurable. The wind in the trees almost brings tears to my eyes, for I have truly missed the company of trees.

Tomorrow is a day for exploration and discovery. Tonight is only for dreams.

Leaving the French doors open, I slip out of my clothes and into the narrow bed, thinking that I'll never be able to sleep without having a lot more room in which to move. It's the last thought that I have for hours.

The Tower Suite

I quietly open the door and shut it behind me. Everythign is perfect here. Faith's body, still beneathe my sheets, exhausted from her journey to this land. Her face pefectly framed in a moonbeam spotlight, filtering in throught he open window. The gentle rustle of long lace as the curtains soflty dance with the mild breeze from the tide far below.

The open, but guazy, curtains that shroud the posters of my bed join the dance, slow and soft against the hard teak pillars of the bed, worn smooth with time and polished with life beneath the canopy of the bed.

My seabag lay on the floor near a small chest, where it had rolled off at the insistnce of my foot as I had lain Faith down to her dreams. An unused kerosine lamp sat on a writing desk near the windows. I sild it away as I sat down.

Reaching into my shirt I pulled the parchment out and looked it over in the moonlight. Rubbign my eyes; in thought and drowsiness, I carefully refolded it and stowed it inside my ever present tied leather book of poems. A gift from a dear freind. Silently placing my book in a drawer of the desk I pulled my billowing shirt over my head and lean back in the chair with my feet crossed and propped on the desk. Looking out to sea.

For a long time I sit thinking over the map. The picture forming itself in my minds eye. Then with a stretch and a smile, I quietly slip into bed and slide in next to Faith with my arm around her, to set sail with morpheus...

First Visit upstairs

walking upstairs she lets her eyes take in everythin. Curiousity and excitement all over her features as she steps into the hall of private bedrooms.

Holding her key tightly she walks to the first door and inhales softly.. hardly able to wait and see what her rooms look like. She presses the key to the lock and turns....

Nothing,.. it wont turn. She continues. Door after door, lock after lock. She bites her lip and tries another one, as she presses her key to the lock she gasps, the door moving.. floating open before her. She then notices the sounds of a light snoring and giggles. looking up to see Gage all splayed out on the bed.

Gage's Room

He awoke partially because there was sudden light in his eyes. He looked up and saw a figure in the doorway... his first thought... the ghost! But then the figure moved and he saw her lovely face...

Katerinna, come in and shut the door, if you want to visit...

He sat up and looked at her. Smiling, kindly...

Everything okay?

Gage's Room

She grinned cutely at him, her hand on the doorknob. Almost cattily she shut the door pressing her back on it. Her fingers caressing the wood she stuck her chin up and studied him. His smile made her grin in return and she raises an obstentaious eyebrow.

"Ofcourse im fine.. Im just.. looking for my room thats all" she played with the key in her hand and bit her lip cutely, her thighs pressing together as her knees moved closer, her legs parting in a 45 degree angle.

She pushes herself off the door with a thrust of her behind and walked closer to him, standing a foot or two from the bed.

"Theres so many rooms.. and I only have one little key " she held it up to him "its like a game.. I cant wait to see whats behind my door..."

Gage's Room

Well, let's see what we can do about that...

He stood up and walked over to her. He was clad in only a pair of pajama pants and he didn't think to put on a shirt. He took the key from her small beautifully sculpted hand and read it.

In a tiny script, it says 8 on it, love... so I would assume that would be your room number... but if you'd like, I wouldn't mind having someone to help keep me warm tonight... It's chilly and late, and do you really want to have to go hunting around a haunted old place in search of an unfurnished room?

He sat back down on the bed and looked at her gorgeous face... invitingly.

Gage's Room

She chuckles and facepalms, shaking her head "well ofcoarse.. why didnt I think of that" when he returns the key she shoves it in her purse and smiles, leaning closer to lay a kiss on his forehead

"I think you may be right.." she looks back at the door and then at the night sky "it is late.. and I can find my room later.. I mean ive got the key so there is no rush" She slips one leg on the bed, pulling her skirts up a little so she can sit on the cushion. She pulls her other leg up and sits sideways, stroking a curl as she pushes it behind her shoulder " sorry for waking you up"

Gage's Room

Nothing to worry about love... I'm a light sleeper, and I was just dreaming of how nice it would be to have someone to lay down beside...

His hand found it's way to her face, where he gently moved a hair out of her way and planted a soft kiss.

Do you need something to wear to bed? I have t-shirts and stuff in the closet... Unless you sleep in the buff...

He gave a playful shrug and smiled... Then gestured towards the closet and laid back down, watching her from where his head rested on his hands, bent under him, causing tight muscles to constrict on his sides.

Me casa es su casa.

Gage's Room

She laughs and shrugs right back at him, reaching back to the zipper on her dress "Buff, ofcoarse" as if it was the most natural thing "who could ever sleep in clothing, those uncomfortable things".

She shrugged the zipper down and climbed out of her dress, tossing it aside and leaning up to crawl over his form. She straddled his stomach and grinned down at him "I love sleeping next to something warm. dont you?"

Gage's Room

Nothing like it in the world...

He smiled and ran his hands over her legs and up her back...

You got something in mind other than sleeping?

He smiled at her and wondered what was going to happen next...

Gage's Room

She cant help but giggle, feeling him touch her skin. She presses her palms on his naked chest and caresses it, leaning down to kiss his chin "Ofcoarse I do.. Who would want to sleep with a man like you between her thighs" she grins and winks at him, licking his lips softly

Gage's Room

Is this a riddle? I'm not good with riddles... Is the answer 25?

He reached up and flipped her down beside him, putting his arms around her and simultaneously jetisoned his pants and shorts from the bed...

Maybe we should just sleep beside each other and enjoy the company, though... I hear this place is haunted... and who wants to disturb any ghosts?
He smiled and looked into her gorgeous eyes.

Gage's Room

She shrugs and caresses his muscular arms, tugging him against her and hugging him there, kissing his chin "I guess youre right.. but I think sooner or later You and I are going to be waking the dead " she gives a conspirational wink and kisses him

Gage's Room

We shall see, love... we shall see. Certainly we can give it a try... but for now, let's just enjoy the warmth of each other and the feeling of companionship.

He drew his arms around her and enjoyed her warmth, and began to drift into a calm, clean sleep. He was at peace and he was content. He kissed her gently at some plateau of near-sleep, far-awakedness where he might remember it the next day... and then he was in slumber.

Gage's Room

She lays back on the bed and smiles, arching her back softly and yawning, pressing into the crook of his arm. With a soft purr she closes her eyes and murmurss "you owe me" with that she yawns again and falls soundly asleep.

Angel's Room

The echo of quiet laughter plays around the edges of my subconscious and I brush it away impatiently, trying to sink back down into sleep. It's no use. I flip over in annoyance and almost fling myself out of the narrow bed, managing to cling to safety only at the last moment.

I sit up and stretch, shivering as the cool morning air makes contact with my bare skin, and think back to my dream. It had been so real that every detail is clearly etched in my mind… but it hadn’t been the ghost of Queen Anne who had visited me. No… it had been the notorious Blackbeard. Smiling at the memory of the rogue, I shake my head ruefully at my overactive imagination and slip out of bed. Squish! My foot makes contact with something cold and clammy and I quickly pull it back under the sheet.

What the… ?!?!?!

Looking down at the floor, I stare in amazement. It's… seaweed??? I cautiously step around it and bend to examine it more closely. Yes… seaweed indeed. There's another rope of it lying in front of the open French doors… and another on my porch. My mouth drops open in amazement. Blackbeard??? Ooh, this is too much for a travel-weary lady who had enjoyed only three hours of sleep… I’ll have to analyze this in greater detail when I have some coffee in me.

I gather the three strands of seaweed and place them in a corner of the porch. Stretching lazily, I enjoy the feeling of the slight breeze on my nakedness, knowing that no one can see me. Leaning over, I see that I am on the third floor; above me is only the roof. Perfect… my own little private haven!

Stepping back into my room, I smile at the beauty of the oak doors and realize that they will match my platform bed perfectly. I quickly put away all my clothes and rush through my morning bath, eager to explore my new surroundings. More than anything, I am very much looking forward to again being in the company of people who are interesting and fun.

After slipping into my favourite dress, mid-calf length and pale green, I wrap a long black shawl around me and head out to visit the cove.
