I read a story I enjoyed and went to post a comment. For all I could tell, it didn't take, no matter how many times I clicked "Post New Comment". I know the comments are moderated, or at least there is a delay, but there was nothing to indicate that the system had recorded the comment at all. I tried this on two different computers and it acted the same way. Is this the way it works? If so, I just plastered @Djmac1031 's most recent "Jenna" story with a zillion of the same comment.

(Sorry!)

Okay. The system is acting flaky. My question in this forum is now double-posted because the first attempt received no confirmation, nor flipped to the normal forum view.

The story-side comment systems says, "Thanks for the comment" but there's no preview like there used to be.

Keep in mind, too, that Authors can turn Comments off.

I think comments are turned on, as there are three others, most recent three days ago. Never saw a "Thanks for the comment." Weird.

My comments are on. There are three already on the story in question.

LE always takes forever for comments to show up. Maybe just a delay?

They also had Maintenance mode the other day so maybe that was it.

Thanks for trying though šŸ˜€

The top fav lists are all wonky and someone else was telling me they didn't seem to be able to leave a comment. Even with the upgrades the site is like a dam that keeps springing leaks they have to pull a finger out of one to plug the new one.
