Putting links to stories in your message

I've seen it, but I cant figure out how to do it. Could someone tell me how to build a story link into a message?

The simple way:

Find the link to your story.

Right click on the link, choose copy shortcut

got to the new thread or reply form and enter whaever text is needed to explain why you're posting a link.

Paste the shortcut with ctrl+V or right-click/paste

Make sure "automatically parse URLs" is checked.

Submit your post.


The hard way:

After pasting the shortcut, put quotation marks around it with no spaces.

At the front off the URL put URL= with no space beteen the = and the quotation mark.

Put square brackets [] around the URL="<shortcut>" line with no spaces.

after the ], put the story Title and a [ (Spaces are permitted here.)

Finish the line with /URL] with no spaces
