Today I had a very special phone call from the Loveshack. You have to understand, due to my inherent shyness, I have only spoken with a very few from those I've met on the internet. But today, I had the chance to "meet" people I've been chatting with for years, and it was VERY cool to put that voice with a face!

Bel - You already know what I think of you, dear, but this only confirms it. Thanks for not letting me chicken out. :)

Imp - Sultry siren with a voice to match! She's the entire package, folks! Of all the folks I spoke with today, yours was the most surprising --but in a very good way.

Tex - The voice fits the persona. I think you and I would have a lot of fun joking around together. You sound like my kind of people. :rose:

Minsue - Your voice totally matched my impression of you, sweet, soft-spoken, and saturated with sincerity.

Lucky - :insertcompletelyshockedbutsmilingsmiley: My GAWD woman! Our first phone conversation, and you made me blush. Imagine how the real meeting will go?! :D I will get down to the Loveshack, I promise. You and me and V. have lots of fun yet in our future.

Vella, Mat, and Becca - I'm so sorry I didn't have a chance to chat with you today, but methinks the opportunity will arise in the future!

Once again I'm reminded of why I like this little corner of cyberspace so much. The people.

Who's next?

I'd phone you anytime darling ;) :rose:

:jealous:

I never get to talk to people as much as I want.
I am admittedly a phone whore- as Diva and a few other Litsters know, I can jabber for HOURS about nothing, and I have this horrible prissy schoolmarm meets Scarlett Ohara thing going voice wise.

But I have unlimited long distance, including Canada, and I never get to use it. :( It's sad.

When you head for the Loveshack let me know, we can carpool.

When we carpool, let's take the scenic route. *ahem* You'd best take LOTS of time off.

Hey, maybe in another four or five years, after I build up the confidence to overcome my shyness again, we can talk! :D

What's the Loveshack?

(Not that I would ever do anything that involves a phone... I won't even answer my own phone! So inevitably I ended up working with them.)

They're all at the shack? Gadammit, how bis IS that place?

/Liar, living in a bread box.

I always thought you had a lovely voice Mck. I don't think you have any reason to be shy. :rose:

I don't know, but I offered to bring my tent and camp out on their lawn when I go. :)

 Thank you, M. I think you have a lovely voice, too, especially when you speak Scottish. ;)

Tis rather large.......last year's meet here, had 14 of us.......and we all had a bed in the house. No-one had to sleep in the garden.

McK, I'm so sorry we weren't around to talk when Bel called you..Vella and I were on the way to the airport to meet Becca.

Next time I'll make a point of being around for the chat.

I'm still planning on you showing Kiten and I how to rough it in the wilderness (perhaps we can figure out something to show you in trade  ). ;)

The Earl

Hummmphf.

I see Mck forgot my long ago call to her. I must not be that memorable.
