Putin smiles sardonic smile

I am crying for America.

Monsters from the Id, consort secretly in America

Gremlins dance, in a frenzy of joy.

Destruction, chaos, death, cruelty.

We were walking toward decency, humanity, and love.

What are we walking towards, now ?

I watched HBO's Rome series.
I decided to revisit I, Claudius

I knew that when I re-visited the scene where Antonia was faced with protecting her daughter from Tiberius, it would become sickening.

I paused, after Gaius Asinius Gallus Saloninus was beaten and murdered.

oh, Universes! This scene holds up a mirror, to what America suffers-

Sejanus: There will be no trial. I have no need of a trial to prove your guilt.

Gallus: A song sung by every small-town corrupt policeman, which is what you are and what you should have stayed. I've watched your career with fascination, Sejanus. It's been a revelation to me. I never fully realized before how a small mind, allied to unlimited ambition, and without scruple can destroy a country full of clever men. I've seen how frail is the structure of a civilization before the onslaught of a gust of really bad breath! ... Yes. But I suppose you're not really the destroyer. We must look elsewhere for that. You're merely the putrefaction that spreads after death - the outward and visible sign of its presence. ... You're a lesson in history to me, Sejanus. Proving that above all.. mankind needs... its sense... of smell.

Claudius: [sobbing] Rome, you are finished! Finished! You are despicable.

America, are you despicable ?

Behemoth international corporate entities have revealed how frail democracy, is. All of the world's financial systems are flowing with illicit wealth. The wealthy are up to their necks in Russian crime money. China is corrupting what it can. The UK admits it is too late to sift Russian money out of their system. Have we given up on attempting to root out the washing of Russian crime money ?

Money has rotted out our government. Republicans out-spend Democrats 10:1 during campaigns. Democrats can no longer claim pure hands. Elections are expensive.

Has Russian money putrefied American religion ?

Christian leaders preach prosperity. Ralph Reed, the slithering weasel, still funnels charity money into election coffers.

The government of Ancient Rome, which was somewhat orderly, was certainly decimated by Tiberius. Emperor Carrot Head did not murder people, but he has emptied the offices of dedicated men and women. Spoiled rotten, is our White House. America enters a conversation with North Korea with no diplomats, no experts, no negotiators. Just a ham-fisted and obsessed John Bolton. Emperor Carrot Head recently raised up Mike Pompeo.

What a hero, for The People! /end sarcasm sequence

Samantha Bee offers up a comprehensive introduction to CIA director and Trump’s nominee for Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. “It would be unfair to simply call Mike Pompeo a raging Islamophobe, because he’s also a raging homophobe. It’s what Republicans call intersectionality!” Bee says. “At a time when our tantrum-throwing Garbage Pail Kid of a president has fired most of the grownups who were reining in his worst instincts, it’s more important than ever to have a Secretary of State who’s willing to stand up to him when necessary. Unfortunately, Pompeo is even more of a balls-out warmonger nutjob than the president.”

What I fear is an un-dead America. An America with an electronic heart, a corporate overseer holding the controls, and a pseudo- religious lapdog yipping for attention.

The old, tried and true American method, was to off the putrid hands, and sew on another pair (President and Vice-President) chosen by The People. I fear The People might be pushed out of the decision making process.

America fights to keep truth.

America pitied the people of Russia.

They were robbed of the truth.

Pravda was a mockery of the truth.

Trump's army of trolls mock truth.

Ralph Reed slithered out of his lightless lair.

No need to remain a shadow.

Invisible darkness protects him.

Do not expect human behavior.

He assumed the role of Replicant.

Ralph Reed’s email was making a pitch for supporters to attend his Faith & Freedom Coalition’s upcoming Road to Majority conference which will be held June 7-9:

This year it is to be held in Washington, DC, at the same location as CPAC , before they relocated to Virginia

Someone has been studying the Evangelicals.

150 years, ago, Evangelicals turned their backs on the truth ?

What happened between 1900- 1930 ?

Why sacrifice the truth, in order to gain power from Trump ?

Trump Is Fulfilling Russia’s Dream of Splitting the Western Alliance

Western trade partners have attempted to reason with Trump’s demands, but the problem is that the basis for his beliefs and actions is entirely fantastical. If your neighbor is irate that you let your dog run loose in his yard, you can pacify him. If he’s irate that you are reading his thoughts through his tinfoil hat, there’s nothing you can do except disengage.

As he boarded his plane to the G7 meeting he was about to tear up, Trump told reporters he believed Russia should be readmitted into the group: “It may not be politically correct, but we have a world to run … They should let Russia back in.”

Russia was expelled after invading and seizing territory from its neighbor, among other aggressive actions — including murdering people overseas, menacing other neighbors and, not incidentally, committing cybertheft against the Democratic Party as part of its operation to help elect Trump. Last night, The Wall Street Journal reported Russia has asked Austria — another friendly country with a far-right leader — to organize a meeting between Putin and Trump this summer. The Trump administration “is pondering the offer.”

Senior government officials in Washington, London, Berlin, and other European capitals” tell Susan Glasser “they now worry that Trump may be a greater immediate threat to the alliance than even authoritarian great-power rivals, such as Russia and China.” Trump might be a greater threat to the West than Putin. Worse, he might be, in a sense, the very same threat.

Billion dollar fine, and a watch dog, gets Chinese ZTE out of hot water

No, wait...

Paying a fraction of a fine, and a flimsy promise for America' defense from harm does seem to suit everyone...

June 8, 2018

A bipartisan group of lawmakers wants to kill the Trump administration’s deal to ease penalties on ZTE over concerns that the Chinese telecom giant helps the country’s government spy on Americans

"Huawei and ZTE have extensive ties with the Chinese Communist Party, as well as a track record of doing business with rogue regimes like North Korea and Iran. So it's only prudent that no one in the federal government use their equipment or services and that they receive no taxpayer dollars,” said Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) who introduced the measure with Sens. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) and Democratic leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY)

"Given their repeated violations of U.S. law, we cannot trust them to respect U.S. national security, and so it's vital we hold them accountable and pass this amendment," Cotton said. Susan Collins (R-Maine) and Bill Nelson (D-Fla.) have also signed onto the measure.

This idea of “embedding a compliance team” at ZTE is a nice talking point, but unless the Trump Administration plans to open an FBI counter-intel field office inside the company, Beijing is about to get one heck of a deal on a backdoor into US telecom networks

Just In: The Trump Administration has struck a deal with ZTE, the Chinese telecom.

Trump team will remove the crippling sanctions. Instead ZTE will pay $1 billion fine and have a US-chosen compliance team

8:48 AM · Jun 7, 2018

Investigators and intelligence officials say ZTE's consumer devices and its access to U.S. telecommunications infrastructure could allow Beijing to eavesdrop on citizens, government offices and private corporations, steal trade secrets, hack sensitive computer networks and even help China wage cyberwar.

A loser deal for American security & American workers. @realDonaldTrump & his admin are giving ZTE & China the green light to spy on Americans & sell U.S. tech to North Korea & Iran - as long as it pays a fine that’s only tiny fraction of its revenue. https://www.nytimes.com/2018/06/07/business/us-china-zte-deal.html

The Trump administration is giving ZTE and China the green light to spy on Americans and sell our technology to North Korea and Iran, as long as it pays a fine that amounts to a tiny fraction of its revenue," Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., said in a statement.

This is a false statement-
"Trump clarified his statements"

This is what the morning news
is telling the viewing public,
today.

If it is not the place,
of the arm of the news
to express an opinion,
why choose an opinion,
that perpetuates a lie ?

The television news, has taken it
upon themselves to censor the
news.

What Trump said, after the
meeting with Putin
did not make anything more clear.
Trump did the opposite.

Trump took clear water of reality
and mixed the mud of lies
into it.

In order to sort it, we would need
to see Tweedledum and Tweedledee
arguing about it.

The TV news is allowing Trump
to get away with it

What Trump said on the stage in Helsinki
caused Putin to wear a beaming
smile.

Now, that the news has bent to pressure,
Putin smiles his sardonic smile.

Another crack in the wholeness of
truth, in America.

What is the justification for an
arm of the news media perpetuating
a lie ?

"We do not have time to
tell the public the truth."

"We do not want to irritate or bore our viewers."

"We prefer to mis-inform our viewers."

Trump Given A Get Out of Difficulty Free Card-

"I'll Find Some Kind Of An Excuse"

"I may be wrong. I may stand before you in six months and say, ‘Hey, I was wrong,’” Trump told reporters. “I don’t know if I’ll ever admit that, but I’ll find some kind of an excuse.”
