Quite happy living here in Houston, Texas. It's part of the "golden triangle" (Houston-Austin-San Antonio), the economic engine that drives most of the Texas economy, and Houston itself is quite a progressive oasis in Texas. We voted out virtually every single Republican from local office in the 2018 cycle. Life is good.

I'm not interested in living in California....it's damned near impossible to get good beef brisket there.
