Put Down the Romantic Comedy...

Their next study is going to be the effects of the "L-Word" and all those lesbian "best friends" in romantic movies on Lesbian ideas of romance and love. ;)

I guess I must not watch enough movies of the popular variety. Could you provide examples for the uninformed?

I see a correlation between romantic comedies featuring effortless, perfect love and LIT stories featuring effortless, perfect sex. This brings up an interesting point. Can LIT authors be blamed for the reader's dissatisfaction with their bland sex lives? Or are LIT authors fulfilling a need that can't be realized in real life?

I see another research grant on the horizon.

Ooooo, I hope it's a BIG one.
