Oh, MP, "Winter" Shade of Pale? I tsk in your general direction!

Kerrie - would you beleive that I have sung that song WRONG my entire life? I have written it and typed it and never ONCE been corrected or noticed it was incorrect until you just now pointed it out!!!!!

Someone tell Purple Haze I messed up his track!

Girls Just Want To Have Fun
Fun It
It Ain't Over Til It's Over

Bohemian Rhapsody In Blue

You Can't Stop The Music Man

Figaro, Row, Row The Boat

Born Freedom Jazz Dancing Days

Parsley, Sage, Rosemary And Time After Time

I kind of like the simplicity of combining two or three songs - I can mentally put the two songs together in my head in a kind of soundscape. I used to be in a band that would do things like that - we would do medleys of songs like "Through Being Cool" (Devo) AND "Cool" (West Side Story). When I think of these songs I imagine what they would sound like. I could extend them, for example

Bohemian Rhapsody In Blue Moon Dancing Days Of Future Passed

But then they become a little less manageable as a soundscape.

The Bitterest Pills And Soap (A Sardonic mix of Paul Weller and Elvis Costello)
Fuck and Run, Run Rudolph (Liz Phair puts the X in XMAS)
Bastards Of Young Americans (Actually, this sounds like a Paul Westerberg title without Bowie's help)

There are a few things in life that my mind simply cannot grasp, no matter what I do.

One is being able to tell my left from my right.

Another is unscrambling words.

And another is making combinations of songs, like on this thread. :(

I've stopped worrying about our competition.

All I know is that 'Lay Lady Lay' is one of the best mid-70s songs ever written.

Lay, lady lay
Lay upon my big brass bed

Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf AgIn)-A-Gadda-Da-Vida

A Sly and The Family Stone and Iron Butterfly medley as it would be performed by Gnufi Poppets.

I had to scope out CDNow to make sure I got the Sly Stone spelling correct. At least Prince is predictable with his U's :)
