My Cocker Spaniel bitch Sassy had 8 pups last night.

Just what kind of mutt the father was, I'm not sure.

yeah yeah, I know I should have had her spayed, but she was pregnant when she was given to me.

And I will have her spayed as soon as the vet says it's safe for her.

The ONLY way to eat puppies is to marinate them in port wine, then serve them cold on a skewer with gogonzola, pineapple cubes, and pickled onions.

Note: kittens, or peeled hedgehogs can be substituted for puppies, if you are not a dog lover.

I am having so much fun with the pups already.
One I call magellan because he is always crawling off away from the others and I have to fetch him back.

Then there is one I call "Hooker" A little female that always seems to wind up on her back....

I'm really anxious for them to get a few weeks older so I can play with them.

Puppies are so much fun!

In case anyone wonders:

I'm actually a Vegan. I'm against any cruelty to animals, dislike circuses, most zoos/wildlife parks, keeping canaries etc. in cages, golfish bowls, battery hens, and a multitude of other things involving creatures kept, or used for unnatural reasons. I'm sure others could put forward reasonable arguments for the desirability of having such things. Each to his own.
