Puerto Rico vs black kids can't read
Maybe someone can explain all the Black leadership's focus on the bombing of the Puerto Rican island when 60% of black 4th graders can't read. Could increased competition from private schools make a difference? Is the black leadership afraid to attack one of the pillars of the democratic party? Kids are being left behind, and in the watered down education bill, even limited experiments with vouchers were struck down. We have to have the courage to change things that aren't working. And it seems on so many issues the liberals are the party of status quo.
