Ol' R. Richard done got hisself published!
My novel, "Tails Of The Pussycat Lounge" is now up in Fictionwise.com. [By the way "Tails" is deliberate.] I have to give a tip of the R. Richard hat to Dr Mabuse who got me on the track of finding a for-pay publisher and Rumple who provided me with some very useful feedback. There were others who also provided useful feedback, but Dr. Mabuse and Rumple were the main unindicted co-conspirators! My thanks to everyone who helped.
I have another novel submitted and, assuming that it also gets published, you will hear more bragging from this author.
I have learned a lot from the process of getting published in a for-pay site. Although I am by no means an expert, I can offer a few very small, hard earned tips. If you want to get a novel published, you need a real plot with at least one strong character. They are not interested in the "strip down and jump in a pile" stuff. You need to pay attention to the submission guidelines and submit in the proper format. You also need to not only splel czech that their sucker, but also proofread your submission carefully for word usage.
By the way, I originally published several chapters of "Tails Of The Pussycat Lounge" here in Literotica. The novel is not only completely rewritten from the original stuff, but also contains about 70% new chapters.
