Published Authors: Has anyone published stories posted on Lit?

Just wondering -- has anyone ever published stories/novellas, etc. they first posted on Lit?

Was it self-published, or was it with a commercial House? And were there any copyright issues with having posted your work here first?

Both.

No copyright issues. You retain the rights to any work posted here. Commercial houses typically require the work be removed from the "public domain" before publication, though. (IOW, pull it off Lit with a nice thank you note to Laurel for hosting your work.)

I've never had a publisher turn me down because I'd posted work here prior to submission.
