A few minutes ago, I went back to re-comment on a story which I've changed my views on, and I decided to check if there were any Formatting abilities in a story's Public Comments. I used everything I could think of: [][/] and <></>, but neither of them worked when I previewed the comment.
Markup/Formatting would be very helpful when we want to make very lengthy reviews in the Public Comments area, quoting text from the story (I'm sure I would use Italic for that) and explain my opinions on the quoted parts...especially if I have to quote both narration and dialogue-quotations at the same time. Then I would used normal-print for my reaction to that moment in the story.
Just a thought, and I hope the designers consider this.
