I am sure that one of you can help me. I met someone online a few weeks ago. We have never met in person he is 800 miles away. He has had these visions where he has described to me in exact details how i was having sex with this other man.

well dear...some people have dreams that come true. This man could be having a dream such as this...or just a fantasy of watching you with someone. Or he could be telling you in a backward fashion that HE wants to have sex with you lol...

That depends on the occasion a person's talking about. There have been times that they're just a little insight into a person's life, harmless little peeks. Then there's been times that it was almost like a premonition and things played out almost exactly like they were seen.

I have had many similar experiences. My b/f (whom I'm in a long distance relationship with) is quite psychically inclined and he always knows little things like what color nail polish I'm wearing or what chair I'm sitting in. He often knows if I masturbated while thinking of him during the day and he has a way of knowing when I've been thinking about him and especially wanting to call him.

I have psychic flashes myself, but mine happen mostly with animals as opposed to people, though I seem to be having more "flashes' in regards to humans here just lately. Guess I'm more highly developing my powers!

what are you doing at the time of these peeks? Meditating, sleeping?

I get them when i am sleeping or just about to get out of bed.

Ok, there're a couple of things at play here
First off, some people are VERY intuitive & read people well............I've always had that ability, and I'm in Sales so I've consciously worked to develop it to help me make more sales
You can deliberately combine or develop that sort of intutuion or ability to "read" someone with what phoney "mediums" or "psychics" (like that fraud Jon Edwards) call a "cold read" technique, where you get people to offer info about themselves without them realizing they're doing it
I've used those abilities to write VERY convincing fantasies/sex descriptions for people I've talked to online, to the point where they have said they've felt I'm "in the room"

On the metaphysical end, I am SERIOUSLY empathic & tune in to the emotions & responses of people I'm close to FAR more than average (I got refereces LOL)
Plus I tend to astrally travel and form close psychic bonds (sometimes closer than I like 'cause I have trouble breaking them) with people I've been physically intimate with
I have a friend in California who I have developed an AMAZING knack for calling any time she's in the shower (she's confirm this if Lit would let her log on ) and other people who I have "seen" clearly from a long distance

So what you're describing is certainly possible, on many levels

It's certainly an interesting ability to have. I love being able to tell how my animals are feeling. Now I'm starting to get it with people too though and I don't care for it. I'm not overly fond of other human beings and the more I learn about how other people think, the less I like people.

I do believe in evolution of the soul and although I'm more evolved than some, I have met others who are so far beyond me,its unbeleivable. They grasp concepts which seem so simple to them, and yet I know that I will never in this lifetime even be able to discuss those concepts with them.

My personal belief is that our souls start out as fresh slates,learning lessons and picking up personality traits as we reincarnate...You have to have learned all your basic life lessons before you can start seriously delving into the human mind and pyschic powers. I believe once we have fully evolved our soul as far as is possible within a physical body, we then pass on the spiritual plane and serve as spirit guides for a while before moving on to yet another plane of existance that we can't even begin to comprehend right now.

Yeah I get told I'm nuts all the time. I got over it. Not my fault if other people are too close minded to understand my insanity.

I hope so! I get made fun of enough over my beliefs...People think my ideas are crazy. Its ok, I guess. I think that they themselves have ideas that are crazy or just down right stupid in my opinion, but I'm always polite enough to keep that opinion to myself when I talk to them.

I figure there is no point in arguing about such things. They'll never change my mind and I'll never change theirs.

I hope so! I get made fun of enough over my beliefs...People think my ideas are crazy. Its ok, I guess. I think that they themselves have ideas that are crazy or just down right stupid in my opinion, but I'm always polite enough to keep that opinion to myself when I talk to them.

Keep a sense of humor about it and then it'll be easier to handle...... when they're making fun of you, i mean. I know it's hard to, some times.

Dealing with other people.

I strongly agree how lonely it is when you realize at a young age that people are just plain empty!

It is especially difficult in romantic relationships.

actions speak louder than words but then psychic knowlege tells you the truth!

I am strongly empathic making it hard to be around people, I have had to learn to keep my distance otherwise I soak up their hurt and pain. In relationships it is useful to enhance your link with your partner but the down side is you feel the negative aspects of the relationship stronger......Hurt and pain just radiate stronger....I feel with my present relationship it will be quite wonderful as when she feels love.....she glows....I can feel it all those states away....The empathic ability also makes flirting twice as fun.

Being an empath can just plain suck at times. Deceit, ugliness and bs are running amok in the hearts of many. I too have put up shields and "disconnected" with the general public. However, I would have to disagree over it being easier to associate over the internet. I find people are less inhibited and no matter how well the shields are up, you truly see them for who and what they are as you tend to protect yourself and in doing so, sense them even more. I used to think you could shield yourself from the unseen a lot easier...not always true.

I must admit tho, when two empaths get together and allow themselves to connect to the other and there are no hidden agendas, the experience is intense, lasting and immensely enjoyable. (whether they are just friends or actual lovers). ~M~

Actually, it makes no difference what i happen to be doing. Things have popped into my mind while changing dirty diapers that have absolutely nothing to do with them. An odd experience. *laughs*

There have been times when all it takes is to glance at a picture of somebody and images or sounds will appear that have to do with them. Many times these people have no clue who i am, and i have no clue who they are, but whatever it is that pops up is pretty accurate anyway. Not much help here. Sorry.

This is what I love about my current b/f...With both of us being empaths the relationship is extremely intense (as are our sexual experiences). I'm glad I found someone like this.

My lover is an empath, I am not.....but we somehow are able to feel each other. We are in a LDR and right from the start I was picking up tingles and feelings in my centre, which happens to be where the orange chakra is. Not that I knew anything about this before we met (10 months ago)

We referred to this between ourselves as our souls being joined by a golden thread. Since then I've done some reading about soulmates and twin souls, and we are definitely soulmates. He reckons I may have abilities which I am not aware of yet, as he can feel me so strongly sometimes and we're 400km apart. When I dream it's always been in colour and I've since found out that not everyone does this. I still have a lot of learning to do
