A word of advice: Don't take any of it too seriously or take offense at what others say, rate, or comment on your stories or posts. Always remember that it's just ONE person's opinion out of over 8 billion on the planet and keep it in perspective.

That said, if you're a psychology nerd, I might ask for your opinion to beta-read a story I'm writing, which has the swinger wife (her POV) as she interacts with work mandated counseling sessions. It will probably be another two or three weeks before the first draft is ready.

I think the expectation is for people to talk in the thread, nor for whole stories to be swapped. Beta reading is a concept you get into after having written something.

I reckon someone with a knack for psychology could have a field day at this place, but I'd suggest doing a lot of reading and a lot of homework and figuring out whom, specifically, you might like to approach to initiate this conversation rather than waiting for someone to approach you.

That’s a fascinating idea, but I don’t know if I would have much to offer. I’d probably sooner help shore up an incomplete or inaccurate diagnostic profile for a character than tell you she was being depicted “inaccurately.” Otherwise, if the issue is that your character is simply behaving incongruously, I’m not sure I’d be the right choice of reviewer for you. Maybe though? Do you have a character you want me to look at?
