Hey, Kinky, what IS it with the Japanese and the "V" sign? I see it everywhere. Every Japanese tourist in Hollywood and NY stands in front of a building or a statue and makes the "V" sign. There must be billions of pages of photo albums in Japan full of people holding up two fingers. Even all the Anime cartoon characters from Japan do it. I'm sure there's a cultural reason. It seems such a nerdy thing to do. But I'm sure we have plenty of gestures that look (Jan Brady impression) "positively goofy" to the Japanese.

Everyone calls it the peace sign. But i think it's the Victory sign in Japan and other asian countrys. But like you said, I don't get why the flash it all the time.
