I've been watching some entertaining videos of these interactions. These protestors HAVE to be crazy, right? They stand in front of a car, in a a very tense and violent situation where a reasonable motorist may justifiably feel that he/she may have to protect his/her own safety. Do they not realize how seriously injured they can become? If they go airborne, there's a high risk of a brain injury and all that entails. If they unfortunately go under the car, they are likely dead or a quadriplegic. Then after the car speeds off, the run after it. Why? Are they so stupid that they think they're going to catch it? This scenario tells you all you need to know about these mental midgets.

It leaves no doubt about what a moron you are.

C'mon with the name calling. It's fine that you don't like me, whatever, but don't you think these assholes who stand in front of a motor vehicle are exercising questionable judgement? Don't they teach Physics in the state run schools any more?

Hey, some people pull guns on armed cops and think they can get away with it too...go figure

The Left is done talking.
They've declared victory among themselves.
Now they just employ the Alinsky tactic of ridicule...
Ridicule 'Trumps' logic and reason because it is an appeal to emotion.

The worst thing you can do is to acknowledge the ridicule; stick with your message instead.

Piece in The American Thinker about that. Depending on the state, you got lots of legal justification for running them over if they box you in. As a practical matter, I'd wait till they broke a window.

A dash cam is probably a good idea.

I avoided downtown during our tepid never-really-about-Floyd riots so I haven't seen anything like that but I routinely see insouciant pedestrians, in dark clothing, at night ignoring traffic lights and/or crossing where and when they please with a "What? Fuck you!" look. I just dodge them and move on. I don't even bother to honk anymore. Don't need anyone remembering me, specifically. I tend to stand out already in those neighborhoods.

I don't know where any of them get the idea that they are tougher than a bumper at speed.

I don't understand why they stand in front of a car with their hands and arms braced on the hood of the car as though they are physically capable of stopping the vehicle. Seriously, what is going through their heads? If my cabin were breached, I would take any measure to preserve my well-being. I think I would sound my horn once, then it's pedal-to-the-metal, and I would not look back until I got to the Self-Serve car was to flush off the guts.

Luk & KeithD only know how to name call: Their beliefs lack substance.

No one is obliged by the law to offer themselves or their passengers up for sacrifice to a howling mob. If they start damaging your vehicle or trying to gain entry, run their fucking asses down, stop when it's safe and call the police.

At which point, depending on what city you're in, you get arrested and charged with felony hit & run.

Call 911 FIRST. SCREAM loudly for help, help, help because you're being attacked by a violent mob who are trying to kill you and that you're afraid you're going to DIE!!! Then turn their stupid asses into protein sauce.

Video evidence from inside the car before you hit the gas pedal helps a lot too.

My car has a feature called Reverse. It makes the wheels turn backwards. Very handy.

Better to be judged by 12 than carried by six. Am I wrong?

Women do that at the grocery store parking lot, too.

They walk right in front of you as if the quest for food nullifies the laws of physics.

I'll never forget that 911 call that was broadcast all over the media of that lady in her car, with her children, surrounded by "protesters" that were terrorising them. Even though the lady and children were highly distressed, the operator told her the Police were not coming out to her, not because none were available, but because they had been stood down by the local authority. The operator even let slip that the "protesting" taking place was sanctioned, in other words orchestrated by the Democrat governor/mayor.
The operator, in a stern tone, then warned the lady not to drive into the protesters. So what would have happened if she did?? the police would have been sent I suppose.

I love karma vids where stupid bullies trying to intimidate innocent victims get run over, launched through the air, or turned into pulp. I do feel sorry for the drivers who are forced into doing it because they have to live with the aftermath. But, play stupid games, win stupid prizes....

Nope.

The question is; do you want to do your part to make sure the 12 think you're the victim instead of the bad guy?

Nothing to do with motor vehicles but I don't protest during pandemics. Actually, I never protest period.
Screw that. The last thing I want to be around are crowds of sweaty people.

<derp snip>

*snicker*

Please show us one state who has a law allowing "legal justification to run people over".
