Some guys swear that they just don't feel anything with prostate massage, just saying.
But if you want to try, you probably want to use a toy because you might have trouble reaching it with your fingers. Anything will work, prostates aren't as picky as g-spots, even though they are nearly the same thing. The handle of a hairbush is usually plenty long enough, even. Use lots of lube with your toy.
