Leagalization of it would reduce the helath risk. In Nevada it is legal and the women that do this for a living are required to take regular tests both for there safety and the safety of the customers. Also, regulation of it reduces the risk of harm coming to the women involved. If a woman decides to do this, and she does so in a safe manner then what is the big deal. It is her body and how she or he (this would also all apply to male prostitutes) chooses to use their bodies is really their own business.

Then you are looking at the wrong ones. A good example would be the ones found in Hawaii. Now I can only speak in terms of the ones I saw, but damn if they did not look like models. My understanding is that it is allowed there so there is a certain amount of organization to it. The ones I saw were dressed like really attractive business women and were simply stunning. At first that is exactly what I thought they were, eventually the reality dawned on me and I was shocked.

There are ones that span the spectrum from down right skanky to very classy and every bit the lady. Also, my earlier comment would reduce the numbers of the ones that fit the bill of what turns you off from them so much.
