What's the deal with it?

Can we really own land?

I know what you are getting at with this and I don't know what to say. I'd say.... no..... the government owns it over you owning it. You can't just up and declare your ten acres as "Fredisia" , or "Bobdom" and call it another country. Sucks, sorry.

You can't?

*tearing up the Pealeyland constitution*

Do I at least get to keep the crown?

I'm not sure whether this is for real or...

a send up, but I'll ask the obvious.

Are you or are you not able to buy and thus own land in the US?

I think where they were going is, you can purchase it, but the laws of the state (and the country) still govern it. You do not have universal freedom to do as you please with it, but there are certain rights of posession you enjoy.

thanks...

for one moment I thought...

well it doesn't matter what I thought...
