*snicker* Yes, and I assure you he's regretting that whole free will for humans idea since Manchester lost.

Your epistemological system is no more dubious than that employed by most believers, actually, and a lot more straightforward. ;) :D

I have no idea what epitemilogical means...

...but I challenge any of you pornsters out there to find a shorter seven syllable world.

A) i am truly scarred for life, thank you Roxanne.

B) i swear that's not the correct use of the word ;)

c) i challenge you to use the phrase 'Hypothetico-Deductivism' and the word 'Epistemological' in the same sentence- and it has to make credible sense- as in used in their true form :p

While Popper certainly challenged our thinking on such matters, post-modernist challenges to the validity of hypothetico-deductivism ultimately cannot be sustained given the contradictions revealed by even a modest application of epistemological rigor to the precepts - or one might say 'non-precepts' - of that particular philosophy (or anti-philosophy.)

I'll believe in God again when I get a call saying, "Misty, your job has been funded again...get back to work....."

Yeah, that sounds like something more worthwhile to wish for...good luck...

*narrow's eyes* give me your brain Roxanne.

it was 2-1

Manchester united scored first, Wayne Rooney. Arsenal, the feckers, got two late goals..one in he 91st (ish) minutes by Henri (I hope Scarlett's seen the matches now!)

Bah humbug.

But Chelsea lost too, so it's not as bad as it could be.

Much as I'd love to see you smile hon, I'd actually prefer Chelsea winning the title, as I feel quite a bit of sympathy for Mourinho. His team is progressing nicely in Europe and is in second place in the Premiership, after winning it two years in a row and there's talk of the owner sacking him!? I'd like him to be able to win the Premiership so he can turn around to Abramovich and say "Fuck you too; where was the faith and loyalty in me?"

The Earl

PS: WTF is hypothetico-deductivism?

It's okay, I gave up the idea of watching it in case there was sobbing involved. I hate it when they cry.

Nah, it was okay. We're still 6 points ahead of Chelsea at the top of the table, it wasn't the end of the world :)

Oh, good. I hadn't bothered to look at any info today. Everyone around here is pretty concerned with The Superbowl, so it's not exactly on the morning news. lol.
