I keep on uploading a new image to have as my profile picture, have tried multiple times and it will not save the picture. How do I get Literotica to let me change my profile avatar?

Not to jump to conclusions, but they have to approve of profile images (or was that just avatars?)... and that can take weeks.

Beyond that i assume you can access your profile page where to upload it to, right?

Profile pictures can take weeks to change, it requires approval first. There are rules about what the picture can contain (e.g. nudity). You have a profile picture up so I’m guessing you are trying to change it?

I'd noticed that too. Based on the join date, 10 days. Think mine took 2 weeks. I forget.

Though it's possible pre-approved avatars were options which would have been instant, i don't remember. If they got approved only to change it again...

Yep know what you mean, i had a few turned down but they were not even nudes if that makes sense.

The site no longer permits nudity, but hasn't purged all all avatars yet. You're new(ish), so yours didn't pass Go.

You joined Lit ten days ago, and now you want to change your avatar? There's an approval process, and it may have a clock on it (I don't know). Just keep your existing avatar and try again in a month.

It was the standard here for decades. So many brand new accounts are catfish, spambots, and trolls. I greatly preferred them getting caught or bored before they put some random provocative image they found online as their av. It’s easy to get to 100 posts and regular folks would get there and add an av. It was a milestone. Now, the stolen image goes up before the first post in most cases.

It'd be nice if they had to have a certain number of posts before they could PM, too.
