Professional Writer looking to start up CHYOO

Hello there. So, I write professionally. I am actually going to funnel my content on this platform soon enough when I have time. I actually going to be making a CHYOO soon but I don't have the marketing knowledge or the know how to properly promote. My question is - anybody have any suggestions on where I might look into exploring such an avenue?

My website is in my About page, but you can CLEARLY see that ALL I really do is do custom stories. Never tried to market or even make a CHYOO. I am very excited about the prospect though!

I think what you're looking for is creating your own custom Twine (https://twinery.org/) or Ren'Py (https://www.renpy.org/) stories. (More often Visual Novels these days, with kids growing up more stimulated by games than by reading books.)

Promotion of such "stories" (little web programs) is possible on itch.io (see https://itch.io/games/platform-web/tag-interactive-fiction )
They also have a small forum where you may advertise your skill, free or paid ( https://itch.io/board/10020/help-wanted-or-offered ) or find fellow artists to create a chyoa-style story with.

Knowledgebase for "old-skool" plain Interactive Fiction stories (or MUD games) is https://intfiction.org/ (though they also have a Twine category).
And for the opposite side of the coin - full VN games - there's the RenPy boards (https://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/).
