Well the past few days off have been more than a little productive for me and my wife. We managed to hit the beach, we finished the floor in the dining room and the front hallway and we managed to put together a Futon we had been given by my parents.

Oh and we also cooked meals for the next several days of work.

Next week we'll go up and visit my parents. (They head north at the end of the month.) We will also start on the Shutters for the windows as wel as several moer strap anchors (Four and a half foot Spade Screws.)

Oh I'm liking the having of four days off a week.

I got fired from my job a week and a half ago and I'm loving it. I've never been happier in all my life. While I wait for unemployment, I got my life back from the Job From Hell!

Getting fired, as scary as it is can have it's good points as you are finding out.

I have been fired a total of twice in my life.

The first time was when I was 17. I was fired from a card shop. That hurt.

The secon time was from an Ambulance Company. I was fired because I didn't agree with how the company was charging patients for our services. That hurt but I was picked up the next day by Boston E.M.S. and ended up doing Rescue in Beantown for the next five years. (On a side note within the year the Ambulance Company went belly up and several o it's higher ups were convicted of Fraud. The person who fired me? He was later arrested and charged with running on Ambulances in Florida without a Liscence.)
