Problems with Nero CD burner.

Hi there. I've used Nero to burn stuff onto DVD in the past and never had a problem. Now all of a sudden nothing works. The latest problem is trying to burn a movie clip onto a DVD-R. I've burned movies onto the same type of disk (from the same box) in the past, but now I get an error message saying:

'Your compilation cannot be writen on this type of disk. Please insert a disk of the correct type or modify the settings of your compilation to make it compatible with the current disk.'

Then under that it says 'Disk Required for the compilation: CD-R/RW'

Why has this worked in the past but not now? Any ideas?

Aare you sure the DVD is empty? The message is implying it's got something on it and needs to be rewritten to burn the DVD

I would say either the disk already has something on it or the disk is no good.

this is wierd

I have been having the same problone lately. The disc is empty/blank and it is driving me nuts! I even tryed burning it as a data file nothing.

try a different burning program, nero is not known for being reliable. I use alcohol for burning music, and dvd santa for dvd's.
