Problems accessing Lit

I suppose this question/problem goes here. Whenever I've tried to PM Laurel or Manu, I've never gotten a reply. So anyhoo...

For whatever reason, I can't get to the Lit site from my computer at work. I have always been able to in the past. Nothing has changed there. The error I get is "HTTP 500 - Internal server error". So that tells me I am at least getting to the server. I have no problems accessing it from my DSL at home. I have only had these problems today and yesterday. I have a laptop at work and I used it to dial into a different ISP, and I am able to get on Lit with no problems.

Any suggestions? Ideas?

Thanks

I don't have the foggiest idea how to help you, but I couldn't resist popping and saying hello to one of my most favorite pervs!

Mmm... big pervy hug!!

It somehow just fixed itself. <shrug> I'm just glad not to have to use the dial up. That sucked. Took 3 minutes just to post one message.

For future reference:

The error message was coming from your workplace's server rather than Lit's. For some reason, your work place connection was blocking Literotica or having trouble accessing it -- perhaps a firewall problem?

Since the problem has cleared up, it was probably a temporary problem with your workplace LAN, although it might be a hint that they're trying to configure software to block adult sites.

Really? I thougth a 500 error was from the server that is publishing the webpages. I know it' a valid error on the servers I run.

I would have thought I would have gotten a 404 error if I couldn't get out of my LAN and was block by my firewall.

Mmm.. something to keep in mind... it would suck if I could only do Lit from home.
