There has never been a better easier plan for government to get what they want from the people.

In Canada:

Problem: Rising cost in health insurance led to employers dropping insurance benefits for thier employees.

Reaction: An outcry from the people not being able to afford health care.

Solution: Liberal Government comes up with socialized medicine{medicare}, and a guarenteed liberal government who does whatever they want without fear of outvoting.

In The USA:

Problem: Talk Radio and Shortwave Radio reaching to big of an audience threateing the democratic plans of dictatorship

Reaction: A Seemingly lone young male mailbox bomber running rampant across the nation/

Solution: Get your mole Bo Brights{sp} a bought out former shortwave radio host to come out and read a script against talk radio and blame it on the teen young males bombing. New laws to shut down talk radio and shortwave radio set into process.

So, in other words, if some nutjob tries to destroy a symbol of freedom and democracy in retaliation to the government, simply shut down the source, which is approved and sanctioned (and in some cases funded) by the government.

Or, in the case of the Canadians, to avoid being ousted by the people who voted you into office, use a blanket solution for one of many problems of your citizenry, which really does nothing.
