Private/Public reading lists

I asked this in the HowTo-Forum already, but never received an anwer.

If I create a Reading List to bookmark stories in, I have the option to set those lists as either Private or Public.
Nontheless, the lists I set to Public don't show up anywhere outside my personal Control Panel. Is that option meant for future site-updates and basically useless right now, or am I just blind and can't find how to share public reading lists?

It's a future feature. As of now, only the favorites list is visible.

Personally I find it very useful to bookmark stories for future reading, even being able to categorize them, without it showing up on my favorites list

I'd really like to see this implemented. The code for fetching and displaying them is already there, should just be a matter of a small refactoring and hooking up a more general url. There's been talk on AH of creating curated lists of recommended stories. I'd love to be able to do that.
