Premise: Two college freshmen meet on the dancefloor. A Freshman orientation dance or homecoming, or some such. They can both dance, and push each other, farther and farther, eventually doing aerial moves, flips and wow-ing the rest of the crowd.
A slow dance comes on and he goes for a kiss. She stops him. She has a fiance back home. He respects that. They agree to be dance partners, to practice together and nothing more.
Your character quickly decides she made the right choice. Over the next few months she sees him kissing and cuddling with a multiple girls around campus. He is obviously a player. She does note that despite him 'playing the field,' some of the same girls keep coming back. She is particularly surprised one day when, from a distance, she sees him sitting on a bench, cuddling one girl as another walks by and smiles and waves.
But whatever, she is happy with her faithful fiance. Until she goes home one weekend and finds out her fiance has been cheating on her. It turns out he had only proposed to her to get her to sleep with him.
After a good cry and commiserating with one of her friends she decides what's good for the gander is good for the goose. She goes to her dance partner's dorm room. When he answers she doesn't say anything, she just kisses him.
