Let's Talk About Print Media...I Have Recently Been Playing With Transparencies, And I'm Loving The Results....

Now I Have Been Eying The Inkjet Canvas, But It's So Expensive...Somebody Tell Me Their Experiences With It!

Also what inkjet printers do people use, for us inkjet people and any other printing tips would be nice.

Also what other paper do people use to print on.

I currently use the EPSON stylus PHOTO R800 and i love it. I find the colours to be more real, and less maintenance. Had a canon before and would have to do a head clean and realignment after every 3 or so heavy photo print outs.

For paper i've been using the Kodak Premium Picture Paper. Its nice and thick and doesnt have much bleed at all. Trouble is the colour itself doesnt lock to the paper very well and even the slightest moisture that gets in contact it rubs. So been sealing it with a special spray and that has helped alot. Anyone used any the high end matt paper, was wondering what the colour and sharpness of the pictures are like.

My workhorse for MANY years now is an HP Deskjet 9800
I have been very happy with it... does 12"x 18"
photopaper...regular...
and I enjoy printing on bristol and watercolor papers... I can even go in afterward... and paint into them, as it is a waterbased ink.
