a while back jon.hayworth wrote a story about a royal family member and he was flooded with hate mail. anyone who can't stand threats to their lives from anonymous readers shouldn't write the story.

princess di has been a few years now. it could simply be that not enough people think of her as a sexual being anymore. at least not enough to write about her. i haven't looked for any, but i haven't seen too many stories about the legendary marilyn monroe previously mentioned, and she was an american phenomonon. not saying were better just that there's hell of lot more of us(270 million or so last i heard) than there are any brits( 60 or 80 million of you now? am i even close?) so mathematically you'd think she'd have a better chance.

also some people may just have a problem about writing sexual stories about dead icons. i mean, it seems her fame reached almost jesus like status and you don't see too many stories about jesus being a good lay.

now that gives me an idea.....

I heard this, many peeps who dared to even question the woman's morals or make critcal remarks in print or otherwise were fooded with death threats, some even assaulted in the street.

I wouldn't touch the subject, not from my point of view I love hate mail, makes me laugh, but my wife and kids safety would be my concern.

I too wonder how you can receive hate mail reading an article robin.

Actually 54 million, but I think a greater proportion of us write. On the other hand less of us have home PCs. On the third hand it is a well-known fact that nobody under 18 in the USA knowsthat sex even exists; if you don't believe that check all the stories on Lit and many other sites. Oh, and I don't have a fourth hand for any more arguments ....
