I'm bringing it up because it popped up again in the news.

Most (non-US/UK) people that I talked to, don't exclude the execution theory.
The sudden flash of light, the CCTV footage that 'stopped working' before the accident, the fact that cleaning & car traffic were re-instituted the next day, instead of preserving the accident scene.

Yet may Brits/Americans accuse us of being conspiracy theorists.
No, we are not. We just think that the murder hypothesis should have equal merit to the accident hypothesis.

Maybe, but I doubt the royal family were involved.

Neither.

Just a horrible accident that could have been prevented for several different reasons. Seatbelt, sober driver, proper security, flight being delayed, trying to show ex lover she was over him...all you could say might have made a difference. Dunno.

Only my opinion of course...I think Marilyn was murdered though.

Seatbelt would have saved her, Dodi and driver but they didn't make enough of a thing about it for various reasons. The bodyguard had his on though it was initially denied. But no, tragic accident with incompetent intoxicated driver

I couldnt give a fuck.

Last thing to go through her mind though was the ZF live rear axle from a Mercedes.
Waste of an axle.

Opra, megananan and ginger nut have got whole new job prospects out of it.

I would like to think no one had a hit out on her but in this day and age, even back in 97, you just never know.

What real difference would it make if she had lived? Even to the royal family?

Deaths by radiation-induced cancer or car accidents of undesirables were common in former Soviet countries, there's plenty of evidence for that.
You guys think that MI6 or CIA would never engage in shady practices? Like Russians did?

Kennedy and Diana threatened the status quo, even if in different ways (Diana - unhinged housewife, JFK - more calculated politician).

Most people -non-US/UK- people that I talked to, don't exclude the murder theory.
I don't think it was the Royal family, I actually like Charles, but it might have been MI6 or in that line.

The podcast "You're Wrong About" aired a five-part series on Princess Diana, the last episode devoted entirely to the fatal car crash. I am not much of a royal watcher, but it was still interesting to look back at that era. It marked a shift in celebrity obsession, and the podcast carefully examines the details that culminated in Di's death.

Her death was tragic.

I was driving just outside Lake Placid on a romantic weekend trip when the news came on the radio.

My girlfriend at the time was going down on me in the car and being a Royal Watcher, she popped right up to turn up the radio

The sudden stoppage made me cum all over the steering wheel.

Tragic.

i agree with everything you said here. Including the Marilyn part.

It was a traffic accident at high speed. Those kill people all the time.

You see this a lot when famous people die in accidents or commit suicide, which at least in the US is one of the leading causes of death. There's this tendency to go, "No, it had to be a conspiracy or something else, because this isn't how celebrities die." But there's no logical reason to think this.
