pretty planes

Nice. I've seen that before. I love watching plane videos on you tube and listen to Air Traffic Control online sometimes.

i stumbled across the link looking for the music to the new qatar advert... still not found the music and got sidetracked. :)

I attended the Farnborough air show one year with a client. It was a most impressive spectacle.

It's also where I learned that General Atomics was named after the same-named company in Asimov's Robot series.

Back in the day I did coke in a porta john at an air show as the blue angels flew overhead at about 200 feet. It was the only time the lines were short enough at the can.

lol

I was there with a girl who was in the police academy at the time too. True story.

i'd like to go to another but almost every year we seem to hear of accidents at one show or another - puts me off a bit. i've only ever been to one, probably about 30 years ago with the first lot of inlaws... the red arrows were scarily amazing!

and now i have learned that here. hail, sensei. ;P

Is that an Irish accent she has? God that girl is fine. whooof. I'm crushin. Plus shes wearing black tights. In a rowboat. I want her.

no no, lol - nothing like an irish accent - that's more midlands, though some of the more northerly birds here might be able to tell you where exactly... sort someplace between Stoke and Bradford maybe? fata might be able to tell you

erm, i'm guessing you went for fast and tight... not so much pretty, but 'handsome' i believe is the old-fashioned term

if we're going for classy old gals, howabout this?

It was its dihedral-edged wings that did it for me. Akin to hips on a woman, methinks.

I like your choice, but if we're going old-school, nothing beats the P-38 Lightning's twin-boomed design for me. After all, isn't two better than one? ;)
