Was this guy president of the entire Kiwanis Club? Or just the DC chapter?

He doesn't seem terribly bright.

You two will be slicing your wrists a week after he's home in Texas. What will you rant about for 4 years?

Some guys attain the leadership of their fraternity and just seem to top out. Unfortunate, but at least they're routed out of actual positions of responsibility, where they could do some real damage. :cool:

If it were not illegal to say so, I'd say "Fuck him with a chainsaw." But that would be wrong.

I'm glad he's almost gone. The national nightmare is almost over.

I'm afraid you misunderestimate the Bush legacy.

As I see it, Captain George W. Bush has slammed the Titanic into an iceburg. We passengers are discovering that there are only half enough life boats. The engine room has taken on water, the ship has lost power, and we're sinking fast into the frozen North Atlantic.

Sure, it's great that a smarter, more cautious captain is willing to take the helm - and it's especially touching that Bush seems sincere in wishing luck to his successor - but the nightmare has barely begun.

Jimmy it will not change. They will continue to bitch, piss, moan and cry it is and will always be President Bush's fault.

They will never let it go.

Oh, give me a break.

I suppose we could try to explain away the mismanagement of this country during the past eight years.

Nahh. I prefer reality.

Don't speak for me, you ass.

Fuck off. Both you and that idiot you quoted.

Yep, he's a moron alright. Must be mighty embarrassing to be beaten by him. Twice.....Carney

Embarrassing for the country. Makes the USA look like a bunch of ignorant hicks.

Watching this, all I can see is a man with a permanent sick grin on his face, and all the time he's speaking, is a man trying hard not to laugh out loud.

I don't think I've ever seen him present a speech with a serious face....he always looks lke the school kid who is embarrassed at having to speak in public, and as a consequence fights the urge to laugh.

What an arse.

"If America does not lead the cause of freedom, that cause will not be lead."

Arrogant prig.

The nightmare is just beginning.

Back in September all of you laughed and howled when I predicted DEPRESSION, but its here!

Bush's culpability is wide and deep. He fired virtually everyone who brought him bad news about the economy and the troubled financial agencies, and when he finally acted, he acted to provide lifeboats to the elites. Bush's name will give a whole new meaning to words like AM-BUSHED and BUSH-WHACKED. His legacy is a bad joke. Jeb Bush did the math and stepped out of a race for the Senate.

None of what is about to happen is Obama's fault, the Democrat Leadership has shit all over their shoes, like Bush. Pelosi and Clinton and Reid and the others guessed wrong that the recession and financial problems would be mild, and they did nothing because a recession helps them (it did). The Democrats wont help Obama, either, if he is serious about playing fair & square.

What they missed was Bush ran the ship into an iceberg NOT a dock.

CARNEY
Yep. The Democrats never get the part about YOU CANT BEAT SOMETHING WITH NOTHING.

Sarah and the Usual Suspects lose their Boogie Man in 2 days, I intend to enjoy and relish their Bush withdrawals.

Actually, I appreciate that all too well. <sigh> We're in unbelievably deep shit right now. But at least as we ride the bomb down, we don't have some jackass trying to get it to go faster.

So long as the band plays on! What are they playing? :confused:

It goes to show how many morons live in this country, that's for sure. Luckily, the percentage of intelligent folk has risen that crucial two or three percent. But then, total betrayal by the guy you elected has a way of smartening some people.

Now we can try to save you from your own stupidity-- along with ourselves.

Regrets, Ive had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

I planned each charted course;
Each careful step along the byway,
But more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Yes, there were times, Im sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew.
But through it all, when there was doubt,
I ate it up and spit it out.
I faced it all and I stood tall;
And did it my way.

Ive loved, Ive laughed and cried.
Ive had my fill; my share of losing.
And now, as tears subside,
I find it all so amusing.

To think I did all that;
And may I say - not in a shy way,
No, oh no not me,
I did it my way.
