It is interesting to watch us do this Kabuki.

We elect a guy (/gal) because we absolutely
hate the person currently occupying the office
(In this case, The Presidency) and then,
in short order, we sour on the savior of
"Democracy" and start the process of replacement.

Biden is quickly losing approval and hurting his
party in elections as he did in Blue Virginia.

Does the Democrat Party wait until just after the
midterms to ease him out in favor of Kamala,
or do they wait until closer to the 2024 election?

I don't see how they can do it before because
*cackles* has a way of driving down her own numbers...

I've got a little different take on Biden and VA. I don't think he really 'hurt' McAuliffe, he just was of no positive use. All politics is local and neither Biden nor Trump were on any ballot. McAuliffe tried to nationalize the election by trying to tie Youngkin to Trump while tying himself to Biden, totally ignoring what the issues in the state were. Youngkin stuck to his game plan and ran on the local issues and the voters responded.

I think the lesson here is for both parties. People have been out of work for going on two years now. Not being tied up in their routines they've had time to pay attention to what's happening around them. They aren't buying into the 'woke' authoritarian model. How many dems are going to respond to this change? I have no idea but the next few weeks should be interesting.

You somewhat undercut your argument when you talk about Terry tying himself to Uncle Joe.

The same people were the ones trying to tie Youngkin to Trump.
Trump stayed away and the heavy hitters (just like the Braves)
came in to bat for Terry and to underscore the popularity of the
Democrat National Policy. Only the real Braves prevailed...
(Those that hate the name Braves circled their wagons
and were subsequently massacred.)

:D

This really was, in many ways, turned into a national referendum
that was going to prove the efficacy of and love for President Joe.

Both of our positions are equally valid, just depends on which perspective you want to emphasize. <shrug>

Either way it doesn't look good for the party of 'woke.'

How long has the Left been screaming about the right-wing radicals
who run the Republican Party and render is completely unelectable?

Then, they have the temerity to put their own party into the hands
of Left-wing Radicals in the name of a winning electoral strategy...

Living in an echo chamber will do that to you. They should have paid more attention to CNN's ratings. :)

MSNBC was probably inflating their ratings
to prove just how bad FOX is...

;) ;)

what he said about schools and parents really hurt him

as it should have

also, to have a SLEEZEBAG like R Weingarten campaign for him was tone deaf....as was saying they need MORE POC teachers

Well there's one thing for sure, "Trump!" and You're a Racist!" doesn't work anymore, at least not in Virginia.:D

Just saw a clip of Biden from yesterday.

He just looked befuddled. Elmer Be Fuddled...
