pregnant men???

Actually Kitten, it is, I saw it on some news show last week! pretty sick world here.

The website sickens you or the notion of male pregnancy sickens you? Mostly I'm just puzzled. Is this for real?

Oh, you saw it on the news. Well, it's certainly bizarre. I wouldn't necessarily call it sick. I don't think we have to worry about it becoming a trend; I can't imagine many men would be interested and apparently it's quite dangerous health-wise.

Yuck.

Although, next time my husband bugs me about having a baby, I'll know where to send him.

Well.. let me think about this for awhile.
Ah.
This might take awhile..
I'll get back to you on this one.

Don't worry,
be Never.

Why does it sicken you?
Pregnancy is a female prerogative because of nature - a womb makes a mother. Men are becoming women now, women can become men. I have never thought of such people as 'sick'.

Here is a man, who wishes to remain a man and yet still give birth to a child.

Childbirth is not an exclusively female experience now, I will admit the actuality of such an event forces even my mind to unwind yet another ingrained perception of what it means to be a mother, a woman, a man, even a father perhaps.

That's not as hard as you seem to find it. Childbirth is sacred; the gender of the person doing it is not.

Hey, I what did you expect from me?

You can bet your ass that any man who gives birth will not go back for seconds. I can't believe a woman would do it again.

I belive that women are the only ones who should give birth, thats the way God made them, he didn't make men to give birth. For a man to have a child is in my opinion, going against nature. But then thats just MY opinion.

Right, there's a news report over here at the moment saying that it may be possible for gay male couples to conceive, using genetic techniques. I think it may be from the same people who made Dolly the cloned sheep. However, they reckon that they still need a surrogate mother to carry the foetus.

The first thing I thought of when I saw this site was that Arnie Schwartzeneggar film "Junior".

(I dunno about the rights and wrongs of it, but I've always thought that if men were responsible for reproduction - including period pains and labor pains - that the population would dwindle! Most guys I know generally have a lower pain threshold than women.:))

Read the disclaimer!!

Real, huh?

This site ("Site") was created to be an exploration of a very likely scenario that may one day result from new advances in biotechnology and infertility treatments. The Site itself does not provide actual commercial services, and the information contained on the Site is not represented as being factually accurate. This is a fictitious web site created by a single artist.

I must say that this information is certainly giving me an idea for a sequel to my story "A Boy Named Samantha" which hasn't been posted yet. That story is about a transsexual who is contemplating the final step, Sexual Reassignment Surgery. A real life transvestite on this board is helping me with a few little details. OMG, the stuff this "girl" (oh fuck, forgot, can't use that word)is telling me. Did you ever hear of "glory holes" at booths/video rooms in adult book stores?

Yep, now I know what Samantha who used to be Sam can do next. Have a baby!

It is my belief....

That if men got pregnant, Abortion on demand would be legal in the U.S.A. Before you jump all over me, agin, I say this because I believe that women, or girls (whichever) are inherently stronger and able to bear more pain than men.

Hmmm...

Well...

Alright then...

Okay...

Hmmm...

Uhhh...

Idontknow...

Hmmm, Parody is lost on the masses. Take that fake Landover Baptist site somebody was afraid of last week.

I thought this thread was going to be about that other scary movie from the 70's, Rabbit Test.

The joys of motherhood/fatherhood/whatever:

Morning sickness, swollen feet and ankles, unsatisfied cravings, breasts that grow three cup sizes overnight, breasts that leak and soak the front of one's top or dress, aching back, absolutely no caffeine in any way, shape or form, no alcohol, no aspirin or cold medicine, ugly clothes and the need for a crane to get out of any remotely comfortable chair.

Let's not forget labor: hours of excrutiating pain in every cell of the body to expel something bigger than a watermelon through a channel that usually doesn't accommodate anything much bigger than . . . well, Carl aside, not much.

I think it's about time.

Hey and I am STULL afraid of it too cause there are people out there who believe and are willing!

The whole idea of Parody I thought was to make enough people believe so those who are bright enough to see that it is untrue... enjoy it?

Or what does Pardoy mean to you?

MY EYES! MY EYES!

Cheffie, that site has disclaimers on every page, clearly stating it's all tongue-in-cheek. Besides which, they expect most adults to know you won't hear about the demons in your BM's at any Sunday School, least of all amongst the relaxed, open minded Baptists.

When's the last time you saw a church bulletin that said "You're all going straight to Hell!"???
That is the definition of parody, doesn't matter what it means to me. Refer further religious questions to our "resident expert", k? ;)

Bliss,

I actually had a friend email me the link... and only half looked so I bit on it. He actually told me it was a parody and I believed him... (didn't want to look at the site again) because there are people out there that belive such extremities that I was scared by the possibility.

I am all for living on Mars, maybe just aginst rabid born again Christians. and it still scares me...

Da chef

(and I am really sorry bout the spelling in the previous post!)
