I'm with my first girlfriend, I love her very much, and she's kinda worried. We've only had sex for a grand total of maybe... fifteen mintues over three nights I didn't orgasm, and she's due this Thursday, but she said it feels different.

She asked me to feel around down there, see if there was any blood. There wasn't, but, when I licked my fingers clean, it tasted different, smelt different, and she said it felt different too.

Just kinda worried since I'm a first semester college student, and this really isn't in my life plan - at least not yet. I plan on marrying her, but I'm a little worried about becoming a father now.

Does the different taste / feeling / smell mean anything?

She's usally really well... for lack of a better word, PMSy right before her period, and she was tonight. She was really hyper one moment, then the next she was all clingly and sad.

Thanks for reading this, and thanks for the advice

As far as I know, you cannot detect pregnancy via taste or smell. And while you might be able to touch it when she's 5-6 months along, the first couple of months won't really have a noticeable difference.

BTW, for what its worth, you might not have orgasmed, but the pre-cum does contain sperm. You don't have to cum to make her pregnant.

ALWAYS use condoms, even if you don't cum you can knock her up
Not to mention disease doesn't need orgasm to pass
But if she IS due for her period, that would explain the diffeences in taste & smell..a woman changes during her cycle, especially right before or after her period
I hope you're lucky this time

1. Pre-cum has sperm in it and can cause pregnancy.
2. Stress can cause a late period.

As hard as it may be, you both need to relax. Stressing over this will not change the outcome, but could give you answers sooner. Also, there are pregnancy tests on the market today that can detect if a woman is pregnant 6-8 days after the possible conception date. If she hasn’t started her period by then, pop into the drug store and buy one.

One last suggestion. CONDOMS AND/OR BIRTH CONTROL PILLS! Save yourselves the panic each month and use them. You’ll be able to enjoy yourselves more if you don’t have to worry about it again. Good luck to you. :)

Well...

I don't really have anything to add that is new.

1. Yes, the taste, smell and texture can change at any time because of hormones, tight clothing or even just a change in soap/detergents.
2. PLEASE use a condom, for goodness sake. What do you think this is, 1974?!?
*ONLY NEW INFORMATION*
3. There are pregnancy tests that are accurate up to 5 days after conception. Or better yet... go to the Dr... one blood test can tell you within 2 days of conception.

If your worried, its better to fin dout sooner than later. The earlier you find out the greater your choices of options.

What Alyx said. Get yourselves to your university health center or local Planned Parenthood (just look it up in the phone book) and tell them you're having sex and need birth control. They'll even give you free condoms!! If you're not mature enough to use birth control, you're certainly not mature enough to have a child. And as others have suggested, pulling out or not coming is NOT birth control.

And think about a "Morning After" pill, just to be safe

If this isn't in your life plan yet, then get some sort of birth control method in your life plan ASAP...condoms, pill, both, whatever! Go visit the university health center and get some condoms and informational pamphlets from the Sex Education office.

Also, once her period starts and you both relax about a potential pregnancy, sit down and have an open and honest talk about this process -- do you really want to go through this stress every month? What can you each do to prevent this from happening again? How can you each support each other in the event of something happening? You need to discuss the "What if..." before it becomes reality, especially if you plan on staying with her long term.

Good luck!

If you're ready to have sex

then you damn sure better be ready to deal with the possibility of a pregnancy upsetting your "life plan"! The ONLY 100% effective means of birth control is abstinence!!

Now I know I'm coming off as sound ing like a serious hardass here and I don't mean to jump down your throat, but the fact of the matter is that intercourse, no matter how long or short, good or bad, climaxed or anti-orgasmic, carries with it the risk of pregnancy. You as a responsible adult can minimize that risk by wearing a condom, (or taking birth control pills if you are a woman) and being proactive.
For petes sake darlin this is 2003!!! If in this day and age you are embarassed at the idea of having to purchase or wear a condom then you shouldn't be having sex! Pregnancy risks aside you could well be risking your life!

Now to your question...
yes the vaginal lubrication of a woman can change during pregnancy, but as James and others have said it can also change with the onset of menstrual cycle, a different crotch fabric in her panties or soap in her laundry. It can change if she's taking medication or coming down with a cold. Don't rely on this as an indication or denial of a possible pregnancy. Go to the local clinic, planned parenthood or the ilk and ask them for a pregnancy test either by urine- if she's at least a week past due- or by blood if you want to know ASAP. At this point if she is stressing a possible pregnancy she can worry so much that her period will be delayed even if she isn't pregnant. And for the record hun, a missed menstrual cycle doesn't always indicate pregnancy. There are many other factors.
Just get the test, buy some form of birth control and fornicate responsibly from now on.

BS, last time I checked, swallowing was about 100% risk free for pregnancy
Anal too :D

all depends on which set of lips you have wrapped around the cock in question hun!:p

I'll have to give you the anal though...lol!:D

Hmm....I have heard that even anal isnt 100% fool proof. That sometimes cum can leak out and a lucky swimmer can find his way into the vagina. Also, that there are sometime small tears/holes in the tissue between the two glory holes that may allow passage. I don't know how true this is....but I am going to do some research to find out.

I stand corrected....
"No, you cannot get pregnant from anal sex. If a guy ejaculates inside the anus, it will not result in pregnancy because sperm cannot travel into the uterus from the anus. However, if a guy ejaculates outside the anus and semen gets near enough to the vaginal opening, it could enter the vagina and there could be a chance of pregnancy. Wearing a condom during anal sex will reduce the chance of a pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections as well. "

Play around and sometimes you fall.......
Play with fire and you get burned......
You made your bed, now lie in it...

Damn I sound like my Mom!

If you are not ready for children, practice safe sex..PLEASE

I hate to come down on the side of the gloomy outlook, Valentine, but when I was pregnant, my husband said I definitely tasted different. Since he did not care for the different taste, I had to do without oral for the duration of my pregnancy.

Dammit, whre'd my reply go? I had it down here and it seemed to be taking forever and I hit refresh and then it was gone.
