Okay okay I know its super early for this sort of thing but
it doesn't hurt to cast an early vote and discuss the
candidates and issues at hand!

:rose:

PS....the Democratic national convention is a short time
away.....July 26-29....in Bahhhhhhston! The Republican
national convention is Aug. 30-Sept 2 in the Big Apple.

Discuss the candidates.
And issues too!

Know anyone that is going to either of the conventions?
Or are you or others involved in helping any type of
campaign?

okay okay I'll start

Kerry/Edwards all the way, baby!!!! :nana:

And in a more local race where I live in CT, the 4th
Congressional District is up for grabs, and it has
grabbed not only local/state headlines, but also
national. Diane Farrell (Democrat) is taking on
incumbent Chris Shays (GOP). It's going to be a fun
race to keep close watch on!

TJ, it's never too early to discuss ridding D.C. of the garbage that's been in there for the last 4 years.

Maybe we can actually save a few lives in Iraq in process.

I like the way you think! That's pretty much what Ron Reagan Jr. said. He said he'd vote for ANYONE that ran against him! Smart man!:)

Kerry/Edwards!!!

We cannot afford...nay, our grandchildren cannot afford another four years of the Shrub regime. He and his rich carpetbaggers have stolen everything but the kitchen sink!!! *looks out in the kitchen*

If people re-elect the present administration I'm seriously looking into Canadian citizenship...because then they deserve what they get! IMO

Peace :rose:

Jen - Is there any truth to the rumor that you and SueAnn are the only two Democrats in Connecticut? :)

RE-ELECT ???

The THIEF wasn't elected the first time. You can't very well re-elect someone if they weren't elected in the first place.

I think I'm one of the few 18 year olds who can't wait to excercise his right to vote...

...Bush and Cheney right out of office

I've read about Kerry's stances and plans, and I cannot express how happy I am to see him supporting things such as Civil Unions, and lowering medical costs...

You are definitely entitled to your opinion, that is why I
created this thread....so people can express themselves.

If the W. club is back in office again things are going to
continue to go BACKWARD in this country! Did you hear
that today W. wants to keep pushing for an amendment
to ban gay marriage??? SHEESH!!! Give it up already W!

WOW!! I hope that you are registered to vote, friend!
Congrats on turning 18 and that you can't wait to
exercise that right! I was the same way when I turned
18, and my first election was back in 1992.......I voted
for Clinton......it was an exciting time.

I strongly encourage you to talk the issue of voting
up with your friends and family, as this election is going
to be very important this year!

Why I like the Republicans

WHY I LIKE THE REPUBLICANS
by Ken Starr alias Showuoff

1. They all have such bad haricuts I never have to feel jealous.

2. When I am at an orgy with Republicans, my dick is always the biggest in the room.

3. They have such big balls.

4. They have very tight asses.

5. They do not believe in sex, which makes them less competition at bars and clubs.

6. If it were not for the Republicans, the Democrats would not have had the Patriot Act to vote for.

7. If it were not for the Republican initiative, the Democrats would not have had the invasion... er, I mean the liberation of Iraq to vote in favor of.

8. If it were not for the Republicans, the U.S. would not be so close to its dream of world domination.

9. If it were not for the Republicans stealing the election, we'd never know what wimps Al Gore and the rest of the Democrats really are, or how bad our Supreme Court really is.

10. If it were not for the Republicans I would never have written the greatest piece of erotica to hit the porn shops since the Kinsey Report and the Heit Report, my "Starr Report." Thanks to the Republicans I've made a few millon in book sales and I'm here at Literotica today practicing my craft.

Last but not least, the TOP REASON I like Republicans:

Without them, Michael Moore might have made a documentary about the Democrats instead. (FAHRENHEIT 9/11 - GO! IT'S A MUST SEE.)

VERY FUNNY! I'm only a young 30 years old thank
you very much! :)

Been a registered Democrat since 1968 when I cast my first Presidential vote for Hubert H. Humphrey.

Was a C-Span junky for quite a long time. One day in 1993, I was watching the Senate debate the "Assualt Weapons Ban". Kerry spoke about "children under 24 ", twice....so there was no mistake. Children under 24 ????? Lost total respect for him from that day forward.

The party's been scraping the bottom of the barrel so long, they've hit the dirt floor.

Wish Hubert was running.....::sigh::

Um, maybe it's just me, but if your first vote was back in 1968, then wouldn't you pretty much consider anyone under 24 a child?

But I think that's a pretty sorry excuse for loosing respect for someone. How about loosing respect (as if I ever had any) for an administration that has been the cause of death of almost 1000 men and women in an illegal war, of which we were the agressor? Now that's something to be disgusted about, don't you think?

Maybe it's just me.
