Pre-millenium tension

Wow.. Has anyone else read this story? Even from a non-erotic point of view (ack! Did I just say NON-erotic? I mean, the story was DEFINITELY erotic, but..) it was amazing. A story that could stand on its own in any collection of stories not labeled erotica. Am I making any sense?

Bent Ampersand, good job. It was well written and definitely kept my attention.. And made me think.

Oh my...what else can I say? I have to agree with you 110% Endlessly, sometimes a story is so well crafted that it transcends labeling and genres. In my opinion this is one of those times. Such an honest voice and pacing, and just enough symbolism to really make it thought provoking (the porcelain doll, the sacrificial virgin being baptized in blood and fire, only to come out tempered and strong enough "For the dark times? When demons will walk the Earth!?")...and all this on top of being very erotic...

I find it hard to believe that this is the first offering by you Bent Ampersand, but by all means WELCOME and WELL DONE...I'm just glad you decided to share this with us first, instead of an editor at oh, say, Playboy

I agree - a wonderful story in every sense of the word. Wonderful imagery, compelling characters, and named after an album by the father of trip-hop. Bent, you're a class act.
