I doubt Ukrainians will ever give them a victory like that.
 
Without our intervention, Ukraine will fall and
the tougher the resistance, the greater the humanitarian crisis.
At that ironic point, we will send aid to Russia for Ukrainian relief and they will take it...

The Peace at any price block that has a stranglehold on Western politics (like 1939)
will not be motivated to actually do anything until they see piles of dead children
at which point, it will be too late. So Ukraine is gone, sold out, based on a promise
that was ephemeral at best because those countries awash in prosperity and peace
won't sacrifice a single bit of that until war crosses their border and they wonder,
"Where the hell did all of our stout and stalwart allies disappear to?"

In another thread, you just alluded to him as stupid.

I see him as intelligent, strategic and above all completely ruthless.
He will cause the average Ukrainian to take great pause lest their entire family be liquidated.

I mean, the Crimea is still fighting, causing trouble keeping many thousands of troops tied down... :rolleyes:

I'm not exactly sure what the position would be on at this point......autocrats aren't smart. I think that's a clear statement.

As for not seeing peace ..that's not about Putin ...that's about the citizens of Ukraine.

The Ukrainians need to send a team to Moscow and start blowing up stuff. The best defense, is a good offense.
 
The Ukrainians, or anyone else who hates tanks rolling across International borders and killing free people. The longer this goes on, the more this war will come home. A year from now, there may well be terrorist attacks in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Russian people are a great people with a strong culture; it will be a shame they will suffer for Putin's Banditry.
