Earlier this evening We got a phone call from my stepson, with some ver upsetting news. as I sit her typing this I am still in shock and not fulling understanding what I have been told.

almost 2 weeks ago My 10 year old Granddaughter had a tumor about the size of a 12oz soda can removed from her lower left side. They sent it off to be tested, the test returned uninclusive(sp). So it was sent to a different lab... It came back today. they say it is caner. Funny how the world seem to stop when we heard that word. We go Monday back to the doctor to find out more. he thinks he got it all. I just pray she does not have to go through Chemo and that it over.

I am just at a loss right now.

My profound sympathies, Red. It's even more horrible and shocking in one so young. Modern medicine works wonders, and new treatments emerge every day. Have faith and trust in both God and science. Take care. :rose:

Oh, no. I'm so sorry. :rose:

Love and strength to your entire family.

Kids are spunky, resilient, and can come through this much more easily than adults.

Trust in the doctors.

Please keep us informed.

I'm so sorry, Redpaint, but as said there are a lot of new and amazing treatments now. A lot can be found out and a lot can be done. Best of all, she has a grandfather like you to help her on this journey. Hang in there. :rose:

* Hugs * :rose:

Not all is lost. It's possible to heal it when detected early. Have faith.

Thank you everyone. I have not given up, I know theres alot that can still be done. She well not be on this journey alone. Its just going to be a long week end for my family and me. For better or worse we have not told the Jamie yet.

So sorry to hear. It's a rough deal, but not noe without hope.
Adding my wishes for the best possible outcome.

:rose:

Man, Red... my thoughts and prayers are with you... and added to a long list of people I'm sending healling thoughts to. Keep your hope and faith... :rose::kiss:

I seen Jamie today. she was kind of happy... ok more like upset that she could not go swimming,because she still has stiches in her side and has a long list of things she not allowed to do because of it, No running Jumping, beating up her little sister. I have mixed feeling about not telling her until Monday.
