Power Nap

In the time it takes people to take a power nap, I'm still laying there wide awake.

I hate that other people can fall asleep when they hit the pillow, or that they can fall asleep for 20 minutes and get 12 more hours out of the day, without being tired.

To answer your Q, No I won't be joinging you.:(

I am with you. It takes me that long to get comfortable. How in the world do you go to sleep so fast?

Meet ya later, just doped myself up with caffeine. However, if your offer of a Xanax is still open..

Little early for a nap.....

It isn't even 9:00 am, here. I rarely nap....it puts me in a funky mood.....I rarely wake up refreshed. And it sort of makes me feel like a loser....sleeping in the middle of the day. Something else to talk to my therapist about....

However......for some strange reason I did nap for over an hour yesterday.....must have been "tuckered".

Ah! Good morning all! Sleep. :)

It's not just for nighttime anymore! I got about 30 minutes of it. Works wonders.

For me, a little 15 minute cat nap is all it takes. Edison apparently slept in 20 minute intervals at times, and that was all that was needed to rejuvinate that mind.

I only need 4-5 hrs/night sleep, but at times I like a little after lunch cat-nap.

I'm there.

I'm totally with you, blue. Taking naps not only makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong, I also get really grumpy afterwards because I feel so disoriented. (Lol just ask my SO about that...) I'm a day person, and losing time to sleep unless I *really* need it just isn't an option for me.

Lol and what's with this "power nap" terminology, anyway? Can you really sleep powerfully, or with any kind of force? Lol it sounds painful...
