Pottygate: are Dems making a mistake?

I'm very surprised the Dems aren't just letting Pottygate* quietly run its course or even laughing along about it. Crying and whining and calling Trump and others "disgusting" seems like a pretty ridiculous response and calls attention to something that doesn't help them.

Maybe their strategists know something I don't, but why wouldn't they just have a laugh about the whole thing, make a harmless self-deprecating joke or two, and move on?

This seems more and more like the Democrat party of the 1980s than the well oiled electoral machine of the past twenty years.

One other thing: Trump is 69, actually older than Hillary. And if he's like most men that age, he's making more frequent visits to the bathroom than he used to. Recall that Trump was especially eager to shorten the GOP debates from three to two hours. I wonder why?

So not that he's listening to me, but I'd urge him not to pursue this bizarre line of inquiry any further.

I hate Hillary. She has a political record. There are many things to criticize her for. If Trump wants to criticize her, he should be able to find an issue. To me, this story only underscores the concept that Trump isn't a serious candidate.

Tromp has never been serious. He is a Dem stalking-horse doing a wonderful job of destroying the GOP. His every rant requires other GOP candidates to out-Tromp him, gaining primary support but rendering them unelectable on 4 Nov. The ideal would be Tromp vs anybody. Masses will flock the polls to vote NO on every GOP, killing them in Congress.

And he has his fun for cheap. He needs to spend NOTHING on his campaign. The commercial media are with him. He spouts some shit. Media give him free airplay. Rivals must respond by cutting their own throats. We all larf, larf, larf.

Tromp is your friend. Honor the Tromp.

They don't want anyone to know the real reason she was late. She wanted the spotlight. She is so important that all 32 people watching the debate were feverish with worry/excitement.

"Have they checked the bathroom?"
"Maybe the hem of her mumu got wet"
"F*ckin' Bush, this is all his fault"
"Have they checked the bathroom"
"Maybe Mr. Hillary met her for a quickie, hee hee"
"DID ANYONE CHECK THE BATHROOM?"

You can see how this caused quite an uproar. Who knows how she will top herself next debate? Maybe by showing some respect and realizing she has already lost once. It's never in the bag.

It's at the point where I'm not sure what he could say that would be unforgivable. I was positive that making fun of John McCain being a POW would destroy him. Once he survived that (and only got more popular), I gave up predicting he could say or do anything that would turn off his cult.
