When I was young and tings were tuff
I knew life wasn't good enuff
So I accumulated cash and stuff
So much gear it made me guff
So now I'm losing all that shit
Yes, I'm selling all of it
My vinyl, studio, all my kit
My Coltrane and my Sonny Stitt
And giving all my loot away
To my son so he can play,
And spend it now, this rainy day
And to his father he will say
"Thank you dad for all that cheese
which helps obtain a life of ease
Thank you dad, for starting me
on the road to poverty"

LOL. loved it. just what ive done for kat! may both our kids live to love and not love for money. its in their souls, that music.
