Hi everyone -
Well, Literotica had a near death experience on Friday morning, May 12th. We moved the site to the new server (Lit#2) and almost immediately, the server began to choke. After several nail biting hours of trying to get it to work, we finally had to switch back to the other machine. We are trying to sort out what went wrong. The bad news is that any posts made during the time that the other server was online (most of Friday morning) are lost, probably forever. We are really sorry about this and we're going to do everything we can to figure out what went wrong. The next time we try to make the move, we will probably turn off the bulletin board for a couple of hours so that you don't lose your posts. Once again, we apologize and I'll do my best to keep you up to date on this whole situation. Feel free to e-mail me and yell at me if you want to!
The good news is that we are VERY close now to having the site up on two servers. Once these little bugs get worked out, it should be green grass and blue sky for a long time. This is the dark before the proverbial dawn - get ready to RUMBLE!
