Posting Problems

Hi all,

although new to the forum, i've been using chyoo for few months, having added greatly to one story and started my own.

Have only just discovered the connection between chyoo and the literotica site, hence only just discovered the forums, why isnt there a link on the chyoo site to bring us to the forums?

My big problem at the moment is that i was trying to add to anothere thread in here, but everytime i pressed the reply button it threw it out with an error and so i have tried to start a new post instead, but this is a little anooying as i wanted to reply to someone elses thread, regarding new writers.

In that thread someone suggested that if we wanted to publicise our stories that were still approval pending we should post the links here, and that was what i am going to do. I started my story back in June and must have just missed out on the 4th July batch of approvals.

It started as a favour for a friend who wanted a story about her, and as you can see, it has sort of got out of hand and i have found myself getting very into the writting, and every week i look to see if it has been approved, and am getting frustrated at the fact no one else can see it, and hopefully add to it. As someone pointed out, it isn't encouraging for us new writers if people cannot read our stories and it is only with my friends encouragement that i have continued to add to it in the hope it will soon get approved. Does anyone know the current state of play on that, if these stories will ever get approved or if the site is now not getting updated.

Wow

You did not mess around on your first story. You not only started it, you have almost finished it. I hope it gets approved as that will be a lot of work gone if they reject it for some reason. I will read it in full and get back to you, but the first few threads are of good quality and I like the story line.

Do you want other people to add to it, or are you going to make it a solo effort?

Still posting problems (previously dirtykentman)

I am actually Dirtykentman, the original poster on this thread, but I have been forced to register under a new ID as i just cannot seem to log in under my chyoo id, i keep signing in and as soon as i press reply to post it kicks me out. For some reason, looking at my original post it has me labelled as a guest, and when i look at my personal details, says i have not posted in here, so i thought sod it and just set up my new id.

Anyway, now thats out of the way.....

thanks to the people who have already replied, either with a posting on here or directly to me, its great to see there are people who want to help, and i promise i will make more effort now. I do already try to rate the good stories i read and send comments, but now i am going to try to add the odd thread as well to stories i like.

as to my own story, yes, i have got a little carried away (approaching 300 threads), but then i have had 3 months to work on it, and lots of encouragement from dani, the central character, who is a real person i know and who literally begged me to start the story for her in the first place.

In response to your question, I would love to see others add to the story, i know i have developed it in many directions, but i am sure there are other ways to take it, and if anyone does do so, id be happy to link it back to other parts as would seem appropriate.

Once more, thanks to the feedback and now i have discovered this forum, i hope to contribute more.

I once had similar problems, and it turned out that my modem accelerator was the culprit. I was using a connection through MSN at the time, and they had a feature whereby you could increase the speed of your modem up to five times - but when I activated it, it interfered with my connection to this and other sites. See if you have something like that turned on.

CHYOO has its problems and we are all frustrated over the fact that the moderators and webmasters don't seem to give a crap. We deal with it and occasionally blow up about it. Welcome to the club!
