OK, I give up....how do I attatch a jpg file? I've made sure that is is the right size, infact I went well below the size just to make sure. It is in the right format...jpg. But the file just doesn't appear when I preview....should it.
Even if it shouldn't show in preview, it still does not appear when posted. Any bright ideas out there?

Ok, I'm trying a preview, just to see what happens.....

nothing showed up, so now I will attach without a preview and see what happens.

Ok, just attach without a preview. If you don't like the pic as it is, just click on edit (in your post) and click on delete attachment. It will remove the pic and you can try again. Good luck!

You've encountered a quirk in the vBulletin software:

A file doesn't attach until the post is submited, so it won't show on a preview.

When you preview a post, it clears the text box for an attachment, so you have to enter the attachment info AFTER previewing the text.

Sorry for hijacking the thread well kind of but I have a similar kind of question.

I know how to instert a file for people to click the link to see the picture, but how do I just insert my picture into a reply if the picture is on my hard drive.

I don't want a link to the picture I want the picture to be seen straight away.

Thanks

You can't....as you know if the pic is on your computer it shows as a link. The pics that actually show as pics are not on someone's computer but are pics on the web. If you find a pic on the web you want to post right click on the pic click on properties and copy the pic's url into the button at the top of the page when you go to reply that says IMG (Image).
