Never Ever Ever after typing a really long post hit the "Escape" key.

Did you know that the escape key will erase EVERYTHING you have just typed in an instant including what you have put in the Subject line!!!

Trust me on this one. I am too tired to retype it all tonight, will try again tomorrow but be forewarned about the escape key.

For those of you who have to try something to believe it, copy your text first so you can paste it back in or try it with just a little bit of text.

I had typed a long LONG response to this... probably 5 or 6 pages actually... then I accidently hit the damn escape key!

I hate the escape key. The same thing happens on AIM messenger, only the window closes also. So if you accidently hit the escape button before you get done reading the message, you have to ask them to repeat.

Jules cut back on the caffine :D

That's not caffine that's the natural me :) Since my scare with a breast lump and the ob/gyn saying caffine can cause breast lumps I cut back to almost no caffine at all.

The damn backspace key sometimes does the same thing. When that happens, I just give up.

OK Juliangle, I tried an experiment and I have not yet been able to do what you say you have been doing, I'm just a lil confused by it... My Question is..........

What are your hands doing when you hit the Esc Key??

Enquireing minds what to know..

E

The Cure is simply press ctrl and z at the smae time it will undo the last thing done.

LOL not what you may be thinking. I sit in a glider rocker when I am using the computer. Last night I had the keyboard in my lap, with my feet propped up.

The keyboard started slipping off my lap and I hit the escape key while trying to grab it before it fell.
