im really tempted to get a tattoo, but i dont just want a random design i wanna get one that means something. any ideas?

Personally i love tattoos both for myself and on my lovers, i think you have to find a design that really sparks within you then go away and think about it for awhile before making the decision. Try and go for something small to begin with and that is not just a fashion trend. Just go in and have a look at some designs and search the net and then go for it when you find the right thing.

As far as ideas, make sure it's something you're passionate about, it will be with you forever. Most of mine are just crap, wish I'd never gotten them, but I was going thru a wild streak, and couldn't get enuf ink. I want 2 more, and I know what I want, one of em is a matter of finding a decent artist, and for both it's coming up with the money.

yeah, thanks for the info. i can see what you mean about the fashion trend (tribal) have seen a lot of people get them and then a few years later they hate them or something. just need to find a design that has a meaning or something related to me

This is my first tat... what a place to get one... especially this size! Ouch! I almost passed out... was hungover too... never a good idea!
